Our System encourages corruption because the quality of defense you receive is directly proportional to the amount of money that one has. I do not know what the solution is, save the State contracting private prosecutors depending on the resource base of the Defendant, or getting rid of the adversarial system, or getting rid of Jury trials.

I agree with all of your ideas except the one against scrapping the AG's Office and the one for scrapping the jury trial. I know you think we cant abolish the office because it's constitutional, we can just amend it or pass another constitution it's not set in stone. I think perhaps it poses some conflict of interest issues having the AG as a member of the Cabinet too, the cases in point are the Bradley Roberts case, and the Carl Bethel son school scandal. It seems to be problematic when the AG as a member of the government has to take cases against the government. That's why I think we need to replace the AG's Office with something else, a Public Prosecutor's Office or something. It needs a new image to bounce back from its tremendous losing streak. I like what is said about a clerkship programme with the different lawschools. That's a good idea. Even the idea of making lawyers have to do some pro bono cases is good too. In lieu of pro bono cases they could work for the AG's Office for a short period.
