Grouper I understand what you are saying.While we elect different persons whether it be Plp or FNM, it seems like same bull different day.The PLP was the party for the people pre the 1980's but some how they got involved in many unscrupulous activities and became more concerned with advancing their personal wealth.The FNM sought to end the corruption when it came to office in 92. and May i say that during Prime Minister ingrahams 2 terms the country saw lots of advancements.However, like you said there were also scandals that were talked about durning that administration.Dion Foulkes comes to mind(nuff said).Right now many voters are tired and have to select from the lesser of two evils.Mind you age should not be the issue because if they are as old as the hill and can make a positive contribution to our country and keep their hand out of the cookie jar, let parliment be filled with denture wearers BOL. THe thing is Bahamian people need to expect more from elected officials and hold them accountable.I would often watch the Florida News and see elected officials hauled before the courts if in any way they misplaced the trust of the people.Here what happens, some body stands up in the HOA and shouts accusations to the other or they wait until there is a rally and always gat a BOMBSHELL ta drop.SMT. I am tired of having to hear that the roads were paved, dang thats what we pay taxes for.The roads have to be paved,electricity and water is not a luxury.We should have proper health care for our citizens, but sadly this has been overlooked also.Untill we as a people change we will get the same people pissing on our leg and tell us it is raining:sparky:
