The place Troy Alabama the time 1.20am the weapon of choice a 38 specail with hollowed point tips . the objective, kill myself. placed gun to head and pulled ,the first time the safty was off , place gun to head and pulled, the second time bullet not lined up in the chambers, placed gun to head heard when phone rang .
Is that graphic enough for you . Is that distant enough for you , have i now been to this place you speak of or should the bullet have gone off.Am i now at that place you speak of .

You good cause I don't know if I could be that generous. I tryin but oh some people does make it hard. I always askin the Lord for faith and patience wit some people (to quote my grammy) so I don't lose my religion.

When I read your earlier post, the first thing that came to my mind was when Abraham was commanded to sacrifice his son Isaac... well, the same Person who stopped Abraham from taking his son's life is the same One who most likely stopped you from taking yours.. that's what I thought..

And Vicky knows many Bible passages and I wonder why she didn't think of that!

Another thing tht puzzles me is how some women cant understand how some of us men fall seriously in love very easily when we meet a women who would treat us soooooo good for a period of time -- sometimes for only a couple months! then we would swear to God that SHE is the one! When ya look ya in love deep, deep..

And ya start seeing she has "eyes that petrify my brain and sink into my heart!" [serious stuff nah, not just whispering sweet nothings]

This really should be easy to understand, I mean, many times ya hear fellas say, "What am I living for, ma wife or girl friend done gone"; and they develop a kind of death wish.. they might not commit suicide (hopefully), but many times they almost as good as dead (God forbid!).

This business of love is a serious thing; sometimes it creeps on you very slowly!

I was in shock yesterday that I actually answerd back. I pride myself on privacy and do try to stay from under the micoscope, but I saw the need to address an issue that haunts us as a ppl, Suicide.
Having lived and loved and wishing and praying to love again suicide is not the answer .
I watched a movie a few months back about this killer fog and at the end the guy takes the gun and pops everyone in the car even his son because he did not want the fog to kill them. well after poping everyone the fog lifts and the army appears killing the fog and all the beast in it.
Thats been my life having passed through lifes many fogs and having lost some great solldiers in the battle I wanted to fall on my sword and just end it, but the phone rang, i never answerd ,but it gave me an oppertunity to look around and see life afresh again.
So when the fogs of life come I just stop what I am doing look around and as sure as there is light the answer appears not just that moment but it appears.
Suicide is the cowards way out . We sang a song in church today and it goes like this .
If you are in the battle for the lord and king keep on the firing line .the song tells you to fight be brave againts all evil never lag or even look behind just keep on the firing line.
I am happy the gun jammed because I would not be here shaering a true and living testimony that Jesus saves, he did it for me the worst of the worst , who had no value for human life.
I intend to die with my sword in my hand no retreat no surrender .

ps: plus i have great things to look forward to she is one fine lady has a smile that could melt an iceburg . I am still working out the small details but so far i have crossed the hurdle and the finish line is in sight..
