"The killers put a knife through my son's heart three or four times." "They stabbed him in his groin two or three times. Then they dumped his body on the grass next to his car."

"Pictures taken by police of my son's body were somehow passed out of the AG's office and were being circulated during a party aat South Beach. These people were laughing at my son. Can you imagine that?"

"The political and legal fraternity are at the centre of all of this. All thoses people out there seeking justice, let me tell them: its not going to happen for them." "This has shown me that, even as a minister, my position was irrelevant to those in high authority, and that justice can be thwarted by direct political interference."

"It is not your status that counts. It is the family connections you have with the people at the top. They say, in effect, that they are not going to allow you to implicate their friends' sons in this matter. They have no concern for you or the dead."

Miller is most upset with a particular pastor who told him he is praying for him. He claimed it was the same pastor who, along with legal figures, urged police not to take action against two suspects.

"To my knowledge, he was never involved in drugs, or with the police in any way. He never had any money. I always gave him money. I bought his car. He used to go to church at Grace Gospel Chapel at palmetto Village. he was a good son."

"I eas very close to him. I saw Mario the night before he was murdered and he was talking about the Saxons and the fact that they were getting ready to start their junkanoo costumes."

Mr Miller believes Mario's murder was arranged to settle a grudge over a girl. Police were told of a certain person's threat to have Mario killed. That person remains free.

"If my own collegues, and those in authority, act to frustrate my family on this point, then as a father, Leslie Miller doesn't intend to go to his grave without restituion for his son, and I am prepared to die any day. Death doesn't bother me."

"My son was butchered. Is it fair for me, as a father, that I am never foing to get any recourse through this system er have in the Bahamas? I have avenues too."

"I am prepared to suffer the consequences, but for them there were no consequences."

In desperation, Mr Miller decided to use parlimentary privilege to name and shame those he blames for the cover-up. But he allowed himself to be talked out of it by then PM Chrisite and other political collegues. He deeply regrets his decision to take their advice.

Mr Miller feels that Hubert Ingraham is his ONLY hope. He is making one last appeal to him.

"This is beyond politics. But it bothers me that killers leave our courts with smirks on their faces, knowing the state is not going to do anything to them."

Well das true, but I think in heart of hearts he knows the truth. However, were is the justice for Mario and other murder victims. Look we had characters like DODO (Cant say dat name out loud da site might go down again), who were infamous, but unless they were killed while being apprehended by the Police, its murder. Now I ain saying we crying over it, but when you create avenues for deception and denial, it backfires when we least expect it.

Harl Taylor, Thaddeus McDonals, Wellington Adderley, Mario Miller, DODO and score of other deserve better than this.

WE HAVE TO DO BETTER.

If this is true then shame on them.. Regardless of who it is, that is someone's son... Shame on them Shame!!:sparky:
If this is true indeed shame on the parties involved. But wether Maroi was sinner or saint he derserves justice .
sometime thou the once crying out for justice make the matter seem trivial. There is a certain business place right up the street from me, has never been the target of burglers but he laughes evreytime they break into my place, he seems to think thats pay back for the past, well low and behold his place was broken into and he lost trailer loads of stuff. Now he is crying foul .
This is perhpas the time for Mr miller to lead the pact for all those families that are now seeking justice.
when i cried out for the business owners in the area to unite agains the scourge of crime they looked at the nmessenger and killed the message now the chickens are home and they are laying eggs and they have hatched. My hart goest out to all victims of voilent crime .

Mr. Miller is a man/father with feelings and his son was a human being!

I will never forget the time (some years back) when a taxi cab crashed and the tourist (lady) was thrown out of the cab and onto a fence (Freeport)

The paper (not The Tribune/Guardian) decided to but the deceased lady on the front page (I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT)

Some people simply have NO HEART!!!

This is the part which disturbs me most...if a member of parliament can be thwarted by "the political and legal fraternity" what about the common man like me and (most) of you :) Is there such a thing as justice in the Bahamas? We're all at risk when criminals run free, when there is little or no penalty of crime, and the legal system appearers to protect the accused.
