It appears that the Court has ruled that the Local Government election in some areas will be stayed until further notice!
Officials are still waiting on Clarifications on the matter. This ruling may affect West End and Bimini, Exuma and some other areas.
The Minister of Local Government is presently consulting the A.G's Office before making any announcement!

I was trying to find the article but will search later. It is related to a decision made by the Minister of Local Govenment to create or increase some Townships.

It also has to do with notices not being posted with sufficient time for those interested in running to campaign and prepare themselves.

It appears that decisions were made in violation of the Local Government Act.
