The event is tenatively planned for October 30 to November 2, 2008 in Hatchet Bay, Eleuthera....

The marine's that were on the boat and who will be honoured are all alived and were born and reared in Hatchet Bay, Eleuthera...

There are
1. Cladwell Farrington
2. Maynard "Dusty" Miller and
3. Denzil Clarke....

as part of the celebration streets in Hatchet Bay are expected to be renamed in honour of these men, a Heros Park will be set up in their honour and lots of events will be held including a Sacrad Concert, A Bahamian Music Concert, Health and Career Fair among others.. a major park is expected to be dedicated for community events and will be a venue for the Eleuthera Carifesta Song Fest.
