For the last year or so I've been listening to Bahamas Chamber of Commerce head Dionisio D'Aguilar talk on commerce issues in the Bahamas.


I've enjoyed his talks on the talk shows and was especially concerned when he mentioned the poor quality of workers he interviews.

You need to be more than a business minded person. You should be well rounded in all areas.

BUt then again, look at the Politicians now, he would probably blend right in.

Has he ever discussed any other issues?

I heard him speak on Haiti once. He cam at it from a commerce persepective of course, but the immigration policy was there just the same- trade with them give, create jobs for them IN HAITI, make OUR MONEY and keep you keep them off those boats.

yall hear bout what coc holdin bringin in gubment ministers to get dey feet grill. it at sandals i would like to go but have no idea what date and time. Also what would be the proper dress code. We on Bi should make a list and someone or a group should go as the BI delegation and let our voice be heard.What do you guys think about that?

Well da HOA building is wery, wery old. Perhaps da mold, mildew and asbestos in da wall and all dem layers a pink lead paint on da outside is cause dem loose dey brains....

And another thing D'Aguilar needs to pay for those license fees and stop complaining!

I was checking on the Chamber of Commerce website but they do not have the event with the ministers advertised, perhaps it has already happened?

dred dont tell me the ball get dropped. I only heard it being advertised yesterday. Have they been advertising before that? That would be a same. If so did any BI members go to the event

I don't think so. He has been a bit two wishy washy on both sides to create the alliances he needs for political endavors, and certainly not a PM.
