I have a few garbage bags full (to weight capacity...not volume!) of mainly fictional books, mostly sci-fi/tom clancyish books. Any ideas where I could drop them off and they would be happy to take them?

Any ideas where I could drop them off and they would be happy to take them? Salvation army...they will use them for programs or sell them in the thrift shop. Any national library....the one on Mackey street doesn't have many books. The Bahamas National Trust....they always have books which I think they distribute or sell at fairs. Almost any church or school probably will accept them. concerned 06-26-08, - 08:48 PM I have a few garbage bags full (to weight capacity...not volume!) of mainly fictional books, mostly sci-fi/tom clancyish books. You could also try some of the school libraries or the public libraries. I have also given magazines to Persis Rodgers Home for the Aged. My dad takes daily newspapers to various Old Folks Homes, they may appreciate them. Just a thought, if they are suitable maybe the boys & girls industrial schools can use some of them. chancellor 06-26-08, - 08:49 PM Sci-fi....Any Dune prequels in there? androsann 06-26-08, - 09:02 PM Put them on the next boat heading to North Andros, we could do with them as we are trying to restart our school library which was last open in 1991! l_bones 06-26-08, - 09:10 PM androsann if you are serious and tell me which boat and when I can drop a bag off, just make sure you let them know it's coming!
