Well today in North Andros there was tie between two candidates in a polling divison and 9 colored ballots. According to the Parliamentary Act, this matter now has to be taken to Election court for a scrutiny of those ballots in order for a winner to be chosen.

What polling division it was in Goddess and do you think it was split down the middle between PLP and FNM?

Polling Divison one in Lowe Sound. Looking at the way the ballots were cast there is a clear winner, only waiting for the court to say so!

They fighting hard, Vincent Peet showed up in North Andros this morning for the recount with Lawyer Brave Davis. However, the Act is quite clear as to what will happen in the event of tie.

In the local government elections, held Thursday June 26th 2008, incumbent candidate for the High Rock constituncy April Crother-Gow successfully retained her seat along with running mate Fritzroy Thompson.
