It’s a genuine phenomenon that enables humanity to, fundamentally, resolve all matters of profound truth from the prospective of self-interest, in essence; what satisfies my needs, to me, is God. The fact that everything is possible; and, that which is possible manifest itself through the mirrors of reality. This, being a fundamental truth, will inevitably be interpreted, from an abundance of ignorance, as; what I believe I can achieve.

The hidden yet obvious fact concerning truth remains undoubtedly unclear for those, in life, that value no more than their own needs. Placing above the mantel of intellect a shallow interpretation of reality which consequently consumes each second of their lives with contentious thought of superiority. This becomes evident through manifestations of self-importance; our callous disregard for authority, lacking compassion for humanity.

If, indeed, this planet was created and inhabited by superior entities existing among us; beings that possess power to create anything desired. Gathering the soil of this planet into their hands; making the families, foes and friends we are known by today. As stated; if indeed this be the popular belief of the day, and as one subscribing to that belief, it become obvious; humanity has lost sight of the truth-unable to embrace or sense realty.

Continuously focused upon images and illusions; it becomes extremely difficult for humanity to distinguish between fact and fiction, realism and abstract, what is the truth and what is a lie. Consequentially due to our own selfish desires; the nightmare of being suffocated by our own hands becomes a living reality. The process to improve our self-worth diminishes our self-respect; leaving us mere shells of our former self.

Doubt it not; the greatest adversary of humanity is man, and, society will forever suffer at the hands of man until he is able to transcend the boarders of his own intellect. If ever there were a time for deep contemplation it would be now; at no time in the history of mankind had there been human tragedy on a world wide scale like the times we now live. This and every other disaster befalling humanity is not by the hand of superior entities operating outside the realm of our existence; but rather can be easily traced directly to the subconscious illusions lurking in the mind of mankind.

So a human is the greatest foe of humanity. That's like saying that the biggest threat to trees is trees.

Humanity doesn't just encompass the good -- it is the good, the bad and the ugly.

Humanity has a duality -- a dichotomy of an animal side, and a side capable of spiritualism, altruism and any other ism (except cannibalism and related things).

I think what you are trying to say, is that most Bahamians are incapable of abstracting to a higher plane. That may be a higher moral plane, a higher intellectual plane, a higher educational plane. Instead they are the vicious pack animals in a dog eat dog world.

Bahamians live a very primal, primordial existence. Hand to mouth. Dog eat dog. If you push the other fellow down, your chance of survival is better.

The only language that these kinds of people understand is force or violence. The only way to civilise them, is to beat it into them.
