I've never had a problem with items on eBay, even purchased individual items valued upwards of $10k. You just need to be very careful, and read between the lines to avoid the scams.

Ebay May Have Gotten Better These Days. I Tried Them Back In The Late 90 And Early Oo's It Was Bad For Sure Back Then

But Now They Have Their Little Fruad Division And Stuff. I Just Wont Try Them Again And Besides There Is Nothing Interesting On There To Me

Most of the time they won't deliver to a PO Box. You can find out how they will ship - if by Fedex, UPS, DHL, etc. you can have them hold at the depot to call you when it arrives. Or, try GUL in Sandyport or Mail Boxes Etc. in Cable Beach.

You can also have them deliver to a business. To have them deliver to home, they probably won't leave it if there is no one home.

I have purchased many things through Ebay over the years. If the seller uses the USPS for shipping it will come to your P.O. Box and is likely to take quite a while. Admittedly this is to a family island, but I always allow a month for airmail and 3 months for surface mail. If they use UPS, Fedex or DHL then you will have to provide a street address. If you get a tracking number, you will be able to tell when it arrives in Nassau and can arrange to collect it from their offices. (Paying duty etc. at the same time)

ebay is full of crooks and scammers, I wouldnt buy anything from there.

(Paying duty etc. at the same time)i think thats your answer above,i got over 30 purchases on ebay aswell with no hassle,if you have an account with them they most likely will ship 2 the address you registered with on your credit card or 2 a secondary address thats on your account.
