As in following the way of life he taught not by worshiping him. I don't think you can find 1 reference where Jesus said to worship him. The way of life he taught is practiced by many religions. Thus many paths.
“I am the vine, ye are the branches, : He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing” (John 15:5)

Vicky, there are some things in the Bible of which you might not SEE the actual words but you can draw a correct conclusion from what is said.

I am not giving chap and verse now, but Christ said, "If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father -- I and the Father are One"

So He (Jesus) is saying He is God. So if you worship God the Father, you can also worship God the Son. [don't come tell me this is not so, just go study the Word and see for yourself!].

This "many path" business does not hold up either -- many Christians are not even practising some of what He taught, so how could other religions do so? This aspect has already been talked to death on previous threads, wherein I told you not all Christians are for real!

Vicky, there are some things in the Bible of which you might not SEE the actual words but you can draw a correct conclusion from what is said. This is true so pay attention to this next part.

I am not giving chap and verse now, but Christ said, "If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father -- I and the Father are One"We are all children of the Creator, we are all one with the Creator, and we are all part of the Creator.
If some one should see me and give me a message to give to my Dad the person can know I will tell my Dad. My Dad has given me power of attorney. So when someone needs me to do something on his behalf I can. Thusly when you deal with me your deal with my Dad. I am one with my Dad yet 2 different beings. It is also in the Bible that Jesus asked the Creator for this cup to pass. Also when dying on the cross Jesus said “ather why has thou for shaken me”? If Jesus and the Creator were one as you suggest why ask him self these question???

So He (Jesus) is saying He is God. So if you worship God the Father, you can also worship God the Son. [don't come tell me this is not so, just go study the Word and see for yourself!].

The way of life Jesus taught is in many religions. Only thing is Christians think Christ life was unique.

Christians see JEsus as unique because he died for his people...some who even despised him.

But that "why have you forsaken me" is a good one...I like to ponder on that one alot too Vicky......
Your comments were both intriguing and familiar.....
