With a rising cost of living and widespread economic concerns, more and more Bahamians are apparently joining the unemployment line and many of them are finding it difficult to find jobs, according to officials familiar with the situation.

Why do we rely on someone else to give us a paycheck when we can get it oourselves?

"Economically, everybody’s hurting – both the end consumer and businesses as well. I think we are seeing a period of retrenchment with employers, so I don’t think that today is a good day to be out looking for a job," Mr. Nutt said"

Perfect time to network and freelance. My sister has her cpa and she sometimes makes her monthly salary in 2 weeks.

Why would a company pay an enormous fee to balance their books when they can get the same service at a lower rate??????

the bahamian news media always late. i mean recently Bahama issues been scoopin them for every trip.

this problem been goin on for years.

next they will put out a schocking headline: "NASSAU IS OVERCROWDED"

This is dso damn true. I mean a few days/weeks ago, Whatsayou, started a thread about where Tonique Williams-Darling, and low and behold, the Nassau Guardian has a story about it online last week. And these people call themselves journalists!
