This budget is not the best ever IMO....

Reason: All these tax breaks did not have to be given if this hard headed govt had just governing properly!! They caused this drastic drop in the economy themselves...They are only trying to make up for their on mistakes in governing, if you could call it that!!

What tax breaks are left for next year when gas and diesel is more than $10.00 per/gal??

I encourage all to read Senator Fitzgerald's budget address, it was very good.

A few problems with the budget is that it does state anything in regards to the Govt Tax on Gas, it does not state anything about the brand new courts being built at a new state of the art Prison with better pay for judges plus it reveals tax breaks for some items where as we all know that taxes on other items will increase to make up which is very misleading.....

I only have diesel vehicles, so ya know that I know!!

The govt knows that it will make up for the lost revenue from the import of fuel that continues to cost more every time a new shipment reaches the port of Nassau!!

That's misleading just like you said but maybe next year they will cut the tax on fuel!!

Do you think if the Govt was to cut the Gas tax down, they will lose votes and get throw out in the next election?
