View Full Version : Whats Going On With Our Bottled Water??
kiki83neo 06-30-08, - 10:49 PM With all of these bottled water companies, who do we know is safe to purchase water from? I am sure that I am not the only one to have mistakenly purchased water that had a funny smell or tasted like well water. We once even had a five gallon bottle of water with particles floating at the bottom that we did not notice until most of the water was already gone.:realmad: Now, Im sure that is a health hazard! Come on now, what criteria or regulations are there in place to standardize the safety of the Bahamian public's drinking water?
SpamStopper 06-30-08, - 10:50 PM SpamStopper dont drink no water from these local companies, there are no Regulations, no checks and balances, in this country .. no idea what it is you is drinking. Also look at how dirty the bottles is be, and the caps is be loose half the time .. if liquid can get out, liquids (any kind) can get in.

Let me just say this, whenever you have a chance, visit the dump amd wait for some of the Chelsea's Choice trucks to drop off the bottles deemed unusable. You may be surprised to see the amount of people following to collect those same bottles, to patch up and fill with "drinking water". Alot of these companies you see around here are using home reverse osmosis systems and selling the water in unsatisfactory bottles, to unsuspecting buyers.
ONLY BUY WATER FROM REPUTABLE COMPANIES!
Nautilus blow their own bottles and have a full plant here in Nassau. I trust Nautilus, Chelsea's Choice, and Aquapure only. (In that order)
