you know what if we were to do a real poll in the bahamas..scientific and really try to find out...who is gay and who is not....
we will find that less than 5% will admit to it....
not to say for some who will lie..within a 2% range front and back...

the thing is, this issue of lesbian gangs is not salient cause it isnt a big issue becasue most people in the bahamas are just not gay and second really dont care!
so who really gives a flying fart...all the people on the gay and lesbian left!
who see this as a triumph for gay and lesbian even if it is at the hand of violence!

hahahaha....had nothing to do with sex, and had nothing to do with anyone sexual orientation or not...
but clearly political, and a problem that has not only been salient for years...but is of national security..lesbian gangs..wheras may be a problem does not constitute a natural catastrophe!!
hehehhehee
but some would claim it is...

What I dont get is where are the preachers who screamed "we dont want your sissy money" at the gay cruise people when this is really a pressing issue in the youth of the Bahamas. Isnt this an issue of the church. It makes you wonder what was their aim in the first place.

it sprung up and died down...it was the hot issue for the moment for a people who were at the time bored as you would not beleieve...
the hatian thing is sticking to us like the poor bgcse grades "i do say gamblin :D " and the horrible roads....
but gay issues...is as important as the potcake dogs on the street..a nusciance, but clearly not a issue of life and death, or even choice of vice....even though one woman ahs been killed by a pack of stray potcakes..
sad sad case...

but what normal peoiple do get pissed off with is the blatant shove of sexual preference and practice in the face of people who have better things to do and talk about...
i dont wanna hear about sissy or straight tyrades quite frankly!
:dgi: ...do you??

well not really gamblin...just people wantin to spend their money the way they want to spend it...and gamblin is seen as infringing on my right to sepnd my money the way i want to..so is prostitution...
but the way some pastors in paticular go on about gamblin..where it is salient, is not a big isse to all of the spriritual issues and social issues the church should be identifying with.....

i think this is one case where gamblin and issues like that stop being a church problem and become a state problem!!

To be honest I really dont care about gay people and their lifestyle issues. That's not my life. Ive had some gay friends, rather good people, but those girls fight and argue way tooooo much. I think its the female hormones or something. The men, aint nothing sexy about being hugged up against another dude, straight nasty! I would be remiss if not stating that this types of activity shouldnt be so heavily flaunted and visible to children ( their mothers and this LESBIAN CHIC nonsense because the father isnt around), it can be confusing, as I stated in another thread. For children to be exposed to such complexities at such an early age could be detrimental to their innocence. Lord knows the TV already shows too much already. Has anyone seen BET uncut lately? I remember thinking up until I was like 9 or 10 that the stork brough the children home. Those days are something of the past, an ode to childhood of yesteryear.

Im good with picking numbers myself and it would be good for the Bahamians people to restore faith in the gov't. Were not children, when the gov't tell you how to control what you have you are seriously lacking democracy. In this case its the church who doesnt follow their own orders and I thought there was a separation of church and state.

the church has lost power over politics world wide..cause they "after the revelation of luther" especcially in christianity knows the church at times stretch the truth a bit....
:shhh:

protestants are pivotal in the evolution of christianity and the ushering in of the new and much imporved catholic stance in public oppinion and affairs...
but protestants must be careful not to go to far into the depths of iniquity and condone to much freedom..something in which the catholics warned them about...

Uhm the Church is actively invovled in the whole gang situation, hence the knowledge of what is going on.FYI not every church blows there horn about what they are doing in the community,I guess you would love 2 see us in the religous section on Thursday aye?
