View Full Version : Lesbian Gangs
Tafadhali 03-25-05, - 06:00 PM Uhm the Church is actively invovled in the whole gang situation, hence the knowledge of what is going on.FYI not every church blows there horn about what they are doing in the community,I guess you would love 2 see us in the religous section on Thursday aye?
You gave yourself away. I really dont care about reading any religious section, if you notice I really dont comment on Religious issues. I choose my battles to fight, I could care less. It just makes me wonder sometime how people can be so up in arms wrt to religious conviction, then do nothing when more pressing issues truly need to be addressed. Does your congregation feed the homeless? Do you do "Keep the Bahamas" clean efforts? Does your church have spirituality workshops for people with AIDS or do you shun them? Does your church reach out to the gay community? Family counseling, Mentor/mentee programs and the list can go on and on.The fight is for the survival of christian values in the home, in the Bahamian Family. People that preach about the fixing the haitian problem but then telling the church haitian yardman that he dont have to work today are hypocrits and are defeating the purpose of what the church is about: Bringing a people together in fellowship for the greater good. I cant see how that equates to being vicious to gay people or preaching about a lottery that the congregation pays their tithes out of.
Vicky 03-25-05, - 09:21 PM What I dont get is where are the preachers who screamed "we dont want your sissy money" at the gay cruise people when this is really a pressing issue in the youth of the Bahamas. Isnt this an issue of the church. It makes you wonder what was their aim in the first place.
HHHmm what the preachers said is a joke. Its what the merchants said. And it was WELCOME
What you did not hear the preachers say is all you who earn money from the gay cruise don't bring you money to church spend it some place else.
The Church openly help openly living lesbians ha yaeh right. Before the church helps them the lesbians will have to live in denial as to who they are. Lesbians

k.o.o.l.b.o.n.z.e 03-26-05, - 12:44 AM ..why are there little kids begging outside supersaver
hey rory is this recent 'cause i used to work there and i never saw that going on.
Rizzo 03-26-05, - 02:26 AM I remember when the kids used to be outside Super Saver with their "Sponsor sheets"...haven't seen them in a while though.
Anyways, onto Vicky...I never said that my mechanic had relations with an underaged girl. I said I was at his shop and this guy was there talking about his experiences with one. By that I meant another person other than my mechanic....someone I don't know....and someone I can't report to the police, because I don't know if he actually had sex with an underaged girl, nor do I have any evidence against him. Still, everyone in the yard basically counselled him, telling him that if it was true, that he was wrong for what he did. They didn't tell him with such nice words  but everyone got their comments in. We encouraged him not to engage in such activity because of the seriousness of his actions and the effect it must have had on the girl. But who knows if it will do any good. All we can do is encourage, though some persons were visibly disturbed by what he said...and left the yard to avoid tempers flaring. :realmad:
It's a pity you quickly pounced on that portion of my post and turned it into some tirade about Christians, but neglected my positive comment about the need for more informative programs to help our youth understand the risks and consequences of dangerous lifestyles. I suggested a new program similar to Teen Spirit, which educated young people and parents on how to deal with real issues such as teenage pregnancy and sexual activity, drugs etc.
Once again, you fail to accept my post as what it is meant to be. An insight to what I have seen happening, and what I think could be done to help resolve some of the problems impacting our society. Still I am not surprised by your post.

By that I meant another person other than my mechanic...Ok so it was not your mechanic fine. The people there must know him and you said they all heard his statement. So you are all guilty when he does it again. The man said he had sex with a 13 year old girl and all you did was talk to him. I ask again what would have happened if the man said he had sex with a 13 year old boy???? Be honest in your response............ someone I don't know....and someone I can't report to the police, because I don't know if he actually had sex with an underaged girl, nor do I have any evidence against him. It's a pity you quickly pounced on that portion of my post and turned it into some tirade about Christians, I did apologize for that already. but neglected my positive comment about the need for more informative programs to help our youth understand the risks and consequences of dangerous lifestyles. I said nothing because they are good ideas. But it changes nothing you are an accessory after the fact. You let a confessed (even if he was bragging) child rapist walk the streets.
Let me ask you this what if it was your daughter and I heard this man say he had sex with her what would you want me to do. The girl is some bodies daughter.
Rizzo you have succeeded to do in me that I have not felt in years. :hot: :hot: :hot: :hot: :hot: :hot: :hot: :hot: My heart boils. :hot: :hot:
  My heart weeps when I think of you and humanity.
Vicky 03-26-05, - 09:25 AM ..why are there little kids begging outside supersaver, city meat, and why are they collecting water from a dirty pump on the side of the road ...?? Why are the eldery walking the streets .. the govenment really needs to do something and not leave it up to others.
Pay more tax and they can.
They make sure they get paid and have nice pensions first then come the people.

good deflection vick...talk about someone else's faults...
rizzo...i think you did what any normal person with a life would have done and that is keep his motuh shut..unfortunately that was a bad descision, and to be honest 9 times out of 10 we wouldnt get involved....even vick wouldnt, no matter how hard she talks with her save the children speech...if she wanted to save the children, she would see the problem of condoms in vending machines for highschoolers...and she would have a problem with the abuse of sex perversions on the media and internet....
i came to bahamasissues to talk abotu rational problems in our country..not to see ribald tales of vicky the resident homosexual..or transgendered...

I believe children should be protected even if it means making condoms available to save the lives of our youth. and she would have a problem with the abuse of sex perversions on the media and internet....
I don't feel anyone has the right to interfere with consenting adults.

Be reasonable if tis is possible for you ,I did say a church not a house. If you are an example of the community neither am I.Not to my knowledge.
Alien 03-26-05, - 08:42 PM be protected even if it means making condoms available to save the lives of our youth.
yep, and even it destroys the future be over exposing them to adult material before they are mentally..and now physically able to do that...
i say that becasue there is a study in an attempt to see if kids are matured enough to drive..and there was found a part of the brain, that regulates descision making and rational, that was underdeveloped in some kids..but on an avergae fully develops at about 25...so age eent nothin but a number anymore...it has physical realities....but you know that right??
I don't feel anyone has the right to interfere with consenting adults.
you are right..but when it spills over into other non consenting adults..then it is a problem!
You may say what ever you like about me y2kbad. I don't hide behind a smiley face.

I have 2 people that would have been homeless in my home.
Is you church building a house of the Creator???
Are not the homeless also the Creator children?
Please tell me where in the Bible that Chirst said to build buildings to worship Him in.

Vicky...your thoughts never cease to amaze me.
Have you ever known someone who used drugs? I'm sure you will answer yes so I will not wait for your answer....Have you ever called the police and told them that the person who uses drugs can take them to the person he bought the drugs from to arrest them? I'm sure you didn't.....and because you did not.....that drug dealer went on to destroy many more lives with his illegal drugs.....
Now can I justly blame you for that? The answer is NO.
YOu said all I did was talk....lol....that is so like you....you expect me to have the man arrested on what grounds?....becuase he said he did something? Let's say the police do come and he denies it....and we all say we heard him say that he had sex with a minor....do you know what that constitutes as....."HEARSAY"...case closed. No one saw it happen...no one knows who the girl is....no one knows if it's true.....so stop with your constant finger-pointing....because you do it too often.....
how many times in school did guys talk about having sex with another girl....hmmm...i don't know how you will respond because I don't know what kind of school you went to....but are you saying that all of us who heard someone say they had sex with a girl while we were in high school...were guilty of not calling the police for that individual for "raping" her? Boy...well then a lot of us are guilty. Get real. Aren't you the same one who wants condoms more accessible to students? then you are encouraging young children to be "raped" then as you say it....
