View Full Version : Lesbian Gangs
BAHMIA 03-18-05, - 07:04 PM Lawd what is dis! Nassau/The Bahamas is getting completely out of hand. What is this about there being lesbian gangs in the schools? I saw the story on the front page a couple of days ago, but I didn't get to read it. Someone fill me in please? :jawdroop:
k.o.o.l.b.o.n.z.e 03-18-05, - 07:18 PM i didnt read it either but i dont see what's the big deal. their just another gang.
Teniel 03-19-05, - 12:07 AM So what do they do, go around harassing and bothering girls?

I'm really wondering what's the general purpose of a gang like this. Whether it's for lesbians to hang out, or if actual sexual violence is involved. I'm going to look for that paper and post bits of the story.
BAHMIA 03-19-05, - 11:31 AM all gangs are gay!
Ain't that the truth. :cop:
Why girls would feel 'left out' by not being involved in gangs is beyond me. Are girl gangs in the Bahamas the new 'clique'? The path to feeling accepted comes from within. Someone needs to tell these girls that. With pregnancy and disease, girls have so much more danger to worry out along with the actual violence that gangs face. So now, in addition to saving the Bahamian male, we have the Bahamian female to contend with as well? :sparky:

This is what I want to know. Girls in high school have enough stress to deal with, and now lesbian gangs!
This homosexuality in these schools gat to stop.

Heterosexuality in schools should stop as well. There should be no sex in schools.
Here is a surprise for many of you sex is in our schools its in every day life in the Bahamas.
This is what I have come to understand on this issue. Now don't tie me up and shoot me if I am wrong.
This story was blown out of per portion to headline it. Everyone knows sex and homosexuality topics sell news.
It has come to our attention that a few all girl gangs have used some same sex activity for initiation to the gang.
It is not for the sake of sexual gratification.

eh eh...this comming from someone who is a strong proponent for condom vending machines..."YUCK"....in the high schools???
:taped2:

here is an even bigger surprise...it is a problem in barbados, jamaica, united states, trinidad, japan, argentina, columbia, venezuela, cuba, haiti and on and on...yadda yadda yadda...no big news!!
but the homosexual things was always a well kept secret, and was always hush hush...now we have a gang of em... (or so they say)!!
well to be honest, i think it is a little over played by our media...griller and his news men have to stop these scare tactics on the bahamian people...its sickening!!
but there may be some element of truth to the matter...but not a blown out of proportion issue like how they are making it seem!
there may be a gang of girls..lets say 20, and out of the 20, 2 of them may be gay or bi..so it constitutes a lesbian gang! :sparky:
in fact, minor homosexuality in gangs are quite common...you cant escape it, i think the shock value of it all comes from people thinking that they are supposed to be verile and tough men and women..and to be gay or "socialy weak" as one may put it, is a huge culture shock..especcialy gay men in gangs, and in the military for that matter!
but like gay preists, homosexuality in gangs are no new thing..its the words "rampant" and "total" and "huge" and phrases like "every last one a dem" i have a problem with....
:fly:

YUCH eh well at least I see things for what they are. That’s right sex other than sex education should not be in schools, but it is. So we should teach protection and abstinence. There should be a way for students to get condoms with out embarrassment or question.

RockWell 03-19-05, - 07:33 PM I know Rory don't like when I say tis but some of you people on tis board really need to come out of your ivory towers more often.Cuz the lesbian gang situation is a huge problem in Nassau, hav any1 been in the mall afta 3pm lately, they are out there wheter we like it our not & they are busy recruiting young girls 4 there gangs, also I'm sorry Vicky it's not 4 initiation, it's a way of life 4 them.

we should not make condoms available....i have said abstinece and protection..but not make it a red light for them to engage in acts they can not comprehend the possibilities of!
teaching is one thing, but experience is another...what you want is for them to have sex, get your condom out of the vending machine..and set it and forget it and POOF, it is out of your hair....
is that how you want to raise your kids...here take this and get away??
There should be a way for students to get condoms with out embarrassment or question.
they need to gte it on their own..sex is a private act..and when or where you get your protection is none of my bussiness...if you dont feel free buying a rubber..then you realy dont need to be having sex now do you!!!
Have you seen survivor? Did you see Colby win the challenge whoop a straight boy twice.
nah i dont like reality shows...cause its an oxymoron...they arent really real!
:dunce:
You don't know your history do you.
now you just want to argue....and you arguing while agreeing with me just looks outright laughable!!! :shaky:
and whats funny..on the outlook, its looks as if you are telling me something...but you arent..i have allready said it...it proves either you didnt read what i said...or just hard up for looking good!
Alexander should be easy for you
heard it...and second it!
once again...here you have it vicky cheaping the act of sex...
condoms in vending machines for kids...
explaining your sexual experience and know how online...
i know you have not a care in the world for the sanctity of sex...
so this is going no where!!
Alien 03-19-05, - 07:49 PM like i said vick..not that i think gay people are weak...but it looks as if they are, and that is where the culture shock comes in...
i think you got confused somewhere in there...
you are always ready to defend this gay banner...
and no one really cares..just live your life...

Hi Marichal I will let the Alliance know what you have said.
Which mall and where in the mall do they hang out?
How many girls in the group at the mal??
Did you talk with them to know they were a gang of lesbians??
Or did you see them having sex with one another???
Gangs on a whole are not good.

Why does the alliance have to become involved in this? In my opinion this is a matter for the Royal Bahamas Police Force, and other security agencies in this country to deal with. Gay or not, or lesbian or not, gangs tear at the social fabric of our society, perpetuating violence and lawlesslness among our often vulnerable youth. I think we are all focusing on the issues of sexuality too much here. If these gangs were a gang of straight girls, in my opinion it would still need as much attention and need to be dealt with and removed out of our society. Lets stay out of the bedroom on this one, cause if they are lesbian or not, they are still causing trouble, and should be dealt with equally.
