actually seems homestead is not processing their credit cards, Paypal is.
But the entire site is a HomeStead ready made site (short of minor custom design).

3 types of payment methods:

Check/Money Order

You have chosen to pay by check or money order. We will hold your order pending receipt of your payment for up to 5 days.

COD

You have chosen cash on delivery. We will require payment upon delivery of products

PayPal

Click below if you are not forwarded to PayPal within 15 seconds.
Sends you to paypal.

I guess they are still working on their local credit card processing??
You know, to get away from those extra fees PayPal charges.

u sound familiar

And don't forget that Paypal won't *touch* a Bahamian business with a Bahamian bank account. (I've been emailing them about this once a month for the past 3 years, but as of yet, they have no interest in The Bahamas.)
This means Part Shaven is having Paypal transfer those funds into an overseas bank account. I believe the Central Bank has a couple of 'issues' with that.
Have you ever tried 2checkout? Similar to you having a paypal account from the bahamas, with the exception that I think they will wire funds to any bank account (granted to provide the correct routing and a/c info) for a small fee per wire.

Good Day,

I would invite you guys to actually choose the credit card link and type a fake number and order a product.. Paypal DOES NOT process our credit cards. Paypal are for those customers that has paypal. Our credit cards are not processed by homestead as well. Go on the site and try it for yourself. Or you can call the company and ask if they process international credit cards and they will gladly tell you no

Yup - have a couple of clients who've used them. Unfortunately, we've also seen some pretty grim issues with them.

There are other options as well.

This is what we at parts haven was trying to tell you guys. We do our stuff on local level therefore there arent any fees of 35+ or ccbill etc. Thats why they reported us as being the first in that area, but if you wish to spend money on those methods, therefore, resulting in charging your customers more money for products then go right ahead.

Well can you list those plz while searching it seems that 2checkout sounds like the best option and they wire for around 10-15 dollars.

Not only the ability to accept credit cards (paypal allows for that), but the ability to have those funds sent to a local (Bahamian) bank account with relative ease. ie. No checks having to be sent or no use of a US bank account.

If you have a solution, do you mind sharing it?

I think you need to answer the following question:

Which LOCAL BANK are you presently using to "process" credit cards for free ONLINE?

We already have established that you are not the first Bahamian e-commerce store, but now you insist that you aren't spending any extra money on processing credit cards.

Processing Credit Cards online or wherever else is not a free process for ANY merchant, whether they get it from a local or foreign entity. If there is a bank here locally that doesn't charge a fee for each transaction to accept credit cards Bahamians need to know about it.

When you chrage your credit card with get the money immediately. This is what we are trying to say it is possible. No checks sent or no us bank account.

Good Day Yorick,

You are right, there are no merchants that are free. What we are saying is that we dont get the double charge like the current user is saying. We dont have to pay check fees wire transfer fees and so forth. Its just the local merchant fee we have to pay which means we can keep our products low.

Kind Regards,

So if i shop then you get the money immeditely as opposed through some foreign service like Paypal, 2CO, those.

Ok, if that's possible and the case then you disregarded my and Yorick's other question. That is how is this possible and can you let us know?

(BTW does this have anything to do with BECCA?)
