The IRB Sevens World Cup will take place in Dubai from March 7th to 9th, 2009, the qualifiers for the much anticipated IRB Sevens World Cup will be on 25/26 October 2008. Teams from North America and the Caribbean will all compete for 2 World Cup spots. The qualifiers which will take place in the Bahamas.(Winton Rugby Field).
This is a big international meet and guess what to prepare for this, a few people are volunteering their services to ensure the pitch is ready. Hardly any bleachers to accommodate fans. The locker rooms are in a public area, does the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture know that this event is even taking place and if so what is being done to help accommodate such an event. Surely we dont want to be the laughing stock of the world because we cant give world class facilities. Is their any way to contact the ministry to get help
