Nah yinna know how sometimes BI does get real gossipy.But have you ever had gossip destroy your life.I have.I was the victim of a terrible smear campaign by my own family.it got so bad that 4 years ago a heated argument ensued almost to the point of physical confrontation.for years because of the lies that were told there was no communication between myself and that family member.if we saw each other on the streets heads were held high and we would pretend as if we did not see one another.Fast foward to this weekend. I gat a huge thumping at my door before sunrise in da morning.At dis hour ya only come if ya gat bad news or ya car break down on der way from a booty call.anyway my relative came to me in tears and asked me for forgiveness...yes that is right..forgiveness...da good F word.she said that God was dealing with her and for some reason she could not sleep all night.she said she had to come...my with my usual sarcastic self, i said you een tell God to deal wid you like after sunrise or at a later hour in da morning..she ignorned me and kept on talking to me with seriousness and passion in her voice.she said she was told by many persons that everything that the other sibling told here were half truths and the true story was never told...i said well i knew that, but the only reason why this situation has gone on for years was because people kept feeding you lies and you accepted it and she said yes.yes wow dat was quick.you mean after all the sleepless nights i had,bout of deep depression,elevated blood pressure, I got an admittance.like i told her i am human and i responded sometimes out of frustration.i am not perfect, but the things that were said about me were very malicious and sometimes i had to tink wow is that what my own family think about me.evn jesus asked his disciples who do people say i am? people say words do not hurt, but let me tell you when your own go and tell everybody in a 21 mile radius lies about you,it hurts.i was made out to look like i was the worst thing on earth.this is how bad it was.anyway, she called the other sibling and we all met face to face.she took charge and told the sibling that the gossip has to stop.what was interesting was the same sibling that was bringing gossip was carrying gossip also, and that person was carrying on a campaign of lies against her also.Now it had reached to the point were she was being talked about. we placed all of out cards on the table and the root of the problem was exposed.she then contacted each family member for a truce within the family.A family meeting was called, but despite coformations from the other siblings that they were coming, they never showed up.my relative was very disappointed.after speaking with one sibling in paticular she has been holding a grudge against the matriarch of our family for over 30 years.imagine that.Anyway my sibling told me she tried to bring the family together, but there are those who are resistant to it. i told her she tried, which she really did.but she said something so interesting.she said to me i will deal with you directly and i do not want you and I to ever go back to the way we were.she extended an olive branch to me and I accepted it.The power of forgiveness.
I must say, It brought tears to my eyes while reading this post. We must learn that we only hurt ourselvies when we hold anything against your brother or sister. We must do like TD jakes told us a few years ago, 'Let It Go'.

CG you are always the voice of reason.There seems to be alot of bullies on this forum.but those of us who are level headed must learn to walk away.every situation does not need a confrontation. I have learnt in life that you can be positive in your silence.We do not need to answer or reply to every negative post.there are someone this site who i will never respond to their post because they love drama.but just as in real life I only reply to those who are mature enough how to debate without being down right rude.

We allow the words of others to destroy us . When I gave up the life of the streets persons would swear they saw me entering a club or in florida or somwhere in Atlanta doing crap it got so bad that i stayed at home and never ventured out, i became a recluse in my own home.

Since then i dont allow the words of others to keep me down because they are just that words .
A story was once told of how a group of men wanted to stone a lady for adultery, it is written that the good master bent down and wrote in the sand and when he looked up minutes later only he and the woman was standing her accusers had left the scene, I beleive that christ wrote there name before he said he without sin cast the first stone.
When we practice sending rumours and lies and inuendos on others lets add our names also then perhpas we will not throw stones others .
I do it daily.befor I throw stones i write my name in the sand,and my hands that held the gun of desrtuction or the knife of malarkey drops and i pray for the person instead of placing wounds on there character its a lesson that has bode well for me and i find that i am more tolerant more forgiving more loving and more christ like.

Having met Mr.Carradine once I can say that there is a bit of the TV character in him but it was just a character. Anyhow thank you for identifying me with Master Cain. I kind of liked Master Po in the first series - remember him? the blind monk?
