Devil worship..God worship same religious beliefs as far as I am concern although the devil may be a bit more practical and in tune with modern life than god. I say keep them all out and the confusion would be less.

i agree but this has not only happened in catholic churches, plenty of pastors are at the pulpit and really hav to reason to be dere

Thank you! Every organization has its own issues. I think it is more telling how those issues are dealt with.

As a Catholic, it saddens me to see that this scandal has overshadowed the fact that our schools are among the best in this country, that we have hospitals around the world and lets not forget Hardecker Clinic that provided excellent care for many in this country at a time when most could not afford it. Then there is the St. Vincent De Paul society that feeds and clothes many in our country when they are in need. There is the Samaritan Ministries that cares for AIDS patients. The Outreach Ministries that care for the sick and shut ins. The Mens Group that counsels abusive men referred by the courts in domestic violence cases. The Family Life Commission that holds programs and seminars to strengthen marriages & teach parenting skills. There are retreats and Fun Days for the elderly where transportation, meals and entertainment are provided for those unable to afford the nominal fee to attend. The Hurricane Relief committee that assisted many in Grand Bahama after the devastating storms. Not to mention the many Catholic families that give generously and anonymously to scholarship funds, to sponsor poor families and to fund these programs that benefit not only Catholics but all Bahamians in need.

While I agree that church and state should be separate, I think it is unfair to condemn the entire Catholic Faith based on one issue, albeit a heinous one, without looking at all aspects of Catholicism. I would dare say that in some way or another whether through the St. Bernard's Sporting Society or Hardecker Clinic, or one of the Catholic Schools, many Bahamian families have gained more from the Catholic Church in the Bahamas than they have lost.

UUHMMMM, but I do not agree with that arugement but let me give you my personal view....
I am born in a family that is stunch catholics.... (although my father is a baptist minister).... I was never born a catholic.. yes I was baptize one, fist communion etc..... but the difference is, I understood the catholic beliefs... studied it and then accepted it.... in other words confirmed it.... NO one will have do doubt that some how I was born into this... absolutely not... I studed, expereice.... saw the evil of a human church and experience the all powerful forgiveness of God in it and accepted.....
BUT others had and have different experience, some are called and thus some are chosen....

you do realise that you just agreed with with what I said right?

I, on the other hand, would be more interested and pleased if they all kept their religious beliefs out of government affairs.
