It is regrettable that Christians believe that everything spiritual began with Christ. There was no goodness, mercy, love - even God before them. The truth is that all of that was there, long time. Everything that is in Christianity was there before - everything from the resurrection to the Son of God.

seriously? even noted catholic new testament scholar c.s. lewis wrote an excellent book, "when christianity was jewish." if ANY christians are running around thinking that there was naught before them, they're kinda missing the point of an (ahem) abrahamic god.
