You cause me had to blow da dust of my criminal justice text books. The only time "deadly force" can be used by a Police Officer is if the suspect is armed with a dangerous weapon and the Officer suspects his life or that of a civilian is in danger. Deadly force do not necessarily mean killing the person. It could simple mean incapactating the individual so that an arrest can be made. The issue with "deadly force" is that the Police Officer have to show justification for using it. Half of the time Police Officers here are not justified in using that.
Ive been around Police Officers who said in all their years of being an officer they maybe draw their weapon once. Some say that they never even fired their weapon. I guess only in the Bahamas Police Officers can lick off shots everyday and nobody see anything wrong with it.
well bro YOU better get NEW law books! because what i just told you , everyone lawyer and or police officer knows!!!

also to educate you further, deadly force means KILLING!!! what you are talking about is justifiable harm!! Also i agree with you, an officer must justify ANYTIME he fires his weapon! or even loses a bullet! but what I am telling you is Bahamain LAW!! which you can research for yourself!

Yeah! This country will have a riot on their hands IF the Police ever try the sort. How on earth a Police can kill you if you run away?? That dont even sound right to you. An Officer can not "believe" that a person he see have just committed a crime. Probable cause come into effect there. What are the extenuating factors surrounding the possibility of that crime. The mere fact that the individual ran do not automatically mean guilt on their behalf. So the fact that a Police Officer has the right to shoot and kill somebody because they ran is pure bull. And if any Lawyer or Police Officer come and feed me that bull, this country in a sad state.

ill give you a more intersting thought! do you know that let say you are walking along Bay street, and NO crime has been committed, but an officer see you and he BELEIVES that you committed a crime, and he stops you and you run, and he have no other way of catching you, that officer can legally kill you! even though no crime was committed? ask any officer you know, he'll tell you!

as a crazy general, you know i ran from the babylon before.
they never try kill me so i dont know what you talking about boss
but i never had no weapon. also they did catch me. :(
