View Full Version : A Miami Street man almost dies because of a fan and DVD player?
FACTS ONLY 07-08-08, - 09:30 AM Hulan Hanna's story is far different from that of the witneses. The resident of the home said a woman police officer GAVE him a fan and DVD player but she wanted them BACK!!
She sent a man long with two policemen to get her things.:footmouth The resident say he tried to give them the items but they did not take it so he drop them on the ground in front of them and shut his door.
According to him, the police then told him they come ta lock him up and fired a shot through the door.:footmouth He ask them what he lock up for and they into an argument. His mother got invloved and the police, according to the resident, threatened his mother. He then admitted that he resisted arrest and defended his mother.
His uncle who had just come out of the bathroom got shot with a stray bullet in his back and laid there bleeding. Two more shots were fired in the house.
The family is most upset because of Hulan hanna's initial report of the matter because he had apparently said the young man in question was in police custody.
The young man spoke to the news station and said look at me, do I look like I'm in police custody? When later contacted, DEACON/PASTOR Hulan Hanna said the police are NOT pursuing the matter any further.:taped2:
No aploigies to the family, at least not any that I saw in that report last night.
ALL THIS BECAUSE A WOMAN POLICE OFFICER WANTED HER FAN AND DVD PLAYER BACK!!
WOW!! Three persons could've died that night.
bahama_rudest 07-08-08, - 10:00 AM this story all mix up cuz the man admitted that wen officers said he was lock up he ask why and resisted. so i assume if someone resist then the police must become more physical. during this i guess his mother stepped in to intervene and probably was threatened and pushed off thats when he admitted on news to becoming more physical. my thing is if you ain do nothing wrong and the police want to arrest you why not jus go and sort it out. why put up a fight. if the police was wrong in arresting you then they would look stupid when its time for them to release you. everyone jus wants to act the fool these days. in the states they would readily obey authorities so why not do the same for our own officers

SAY WHAT?! Some extremely ridiculous things are going on in The Bahamas. FAN and DVD player?! It would have been so much easier for her to find her way to Robin Hood because those items probably weren't of a recognizable company name / brand anyway. The trivial things that some people treat as though they are of the utmost importance... *shakes head*

Well muddasick. Bey you serious? You obviously have never seen the bad side of our police. Say just go, buddy, you know they could hold you for four days in jail without question? Imagine being in a cell for four days, being beaten, because you decided to "just go" becuase you didn't do anything wrong.
You know how many people is go through that on the regular?
By the time they reach the station, he was gonna have all kinda charges on him for nothing. The police wrong entirely, because if they came for the items, they should have just taken the items and left. Notice they siad they came to lock him up, but didn't say what for. They didn't have anything on him and they were the ones picking a fight. Then on top of that, they are going to shoot into the house? Suppose a child was in the house and got hit? Then what? Who you think they were going to blame?
That's why they are "not pursuing the matter any further". They know they were wrong, and they need to stop this crap, becuase soon the police won't have any friends in Nassau.

Not only that..according to the story in the Tribune today, the police went to this man's house at ONE AM!! For apparently, what the woman police officer told them were STOLEN goods. Now be real, when you hear stolen goods in a report, you'd NEVER dream those goods would turn out to be a fan and a DVD player right?
Since DEACON/PASTOR/PRESS SPIN DOCTOR Hulan Hanna says the police are not pursuing the matter anymore, I wonder what happened to the policemen invloved AND the police woman who SENT them there!!:footmouth
H-Well 07-08-08, - 12:42 PM well I figured something was wrong when I heard the dude who they went lookin for giving his interview........
