Much younger I would have had some place, but I can't see myself having to reside somewhere else permenantly other than my country...my country and all its benifits and faults. If you mean a place like a vacation home or something then yeah, I may have something.... Right now all I look forward to is to get back and plant myself back in Freeport..... Teniel 07-08-08, - 08:43 PM I think alot of you are not answering the question. I said where would you live, not where would you visit. androsann 07-08-08, - 08:47 PM I have already migrated once to come here. The Bahamas would have to sink before I left willingly. To me, this is the best place there is to be. chancellor 07-08-08, - 08:55 PM I think alot of you are not answering the question. I said where would you live, not where would you visit. Seems the worse it get in the USA, Canada, or UK, the more they sell, also Hurricane season, it picks up. People want to know what it is like to experience several and still stay here. foxhillgal 07-08-08, - 09:33 PM new orleans. just came from there...spent what four or five days...yes, it hasnt fully recovered since the bomobing of the levee but it can only get better...its so historic and quaint...I would live in the garden district near tulane. oh i thought i was the only one noticed the bombing of the levee..........FAD! asterz57 07-08-08, - 09:34 PM Connecticut. Went there for college and fell in love with the place. The winters are not that cold but summer can get a little hot. Fall is the best time of year there, it is beautiful watching the leaves turn color. Little Fisherman 07-08-08, - 09:40 PM Born and raised in Winchester Center, Ct., lower Berkshires. When my family visits, they believe that Adelaide or western New providence is similar lifestyle, just different climate. islandgyal 07-08-08, - 10:11 PM Thanks for the plug, I am still selling them on the internet via Paypal. Jer 07-08-08, - 10:19 PM I would migrate to Florida mainly because of the weather and location to the Bahamas but better job opportunities and quality of life. I would also look at Canada on the east or west coast. It gets cold but its a sophisticated country, its multicultural, with okay health care for all. |
