Lets say that you had to migrate and take permanent residence elsewhere outside of the Bahamas, where would you go and list your reasonings. For those that are already living permanently outside of the Bahamas, you can discuss why you chose to migrate to your permanent place of residence.

I have yet to find dat place!!! 'Til then, I'm hooked on home--- born in Rum Cay, grew up in Nassau, schooled in USA, travelled through Europe, most of the Caribbean... would like to go to Singapore, Alaska, Australia and New Zealand.

BUT, lemme always come back to The Bahamas. Nah a family island can lure me:D

Loved Toronto, Canada it is culturally diverse, clean and alot to do. It is also close enough to the US and Bahamas to visit my family but that would be my 3rd choice after Minneapolis, Minnesota because my family is there. It is also clean, racially tolerant & multi cultural but The Bahamas is home. With all its faults and failings, I still would want to be here helping to contribute to its continued growth than anywhere else in the world.

I think I would migrate to Canada. Universal Health Care, Multi-cultural, high standard of living, low crime rate, and beautiful landscape. I could love with the cold.

History(thats where most of my family is from), familiar, similar to the bahamas. This is if i had to leave the Bahamas. I would also not mind moving to either West Africa or Sout Africa. These will be countries with strong economies soon. Temporary places would be Canada, nice kuntry too cold tho. and other caribbean islands

I actually just got approval today for my HB-1 visa (US work visa) so I'm going back to Washington, DC. DC is cool but I wouldn't make a permanent go at it. Now I'm looking at grad schools in Canada, but eventually I think I want to spend some substantial time in London. I just love that city, the culture, the fashion...even the government policies. Besides, I have a thing for big cities....
Spent many days in dat city jess watchin da people or sippin red wine at union station!!!! Stayed 2 and half years after completing howard!!!!

I will move to denmark. . .I issa EU citizen and id will be no problem ta move in dat part of da worl!!!!

I have travelled Europe, America and some caribbean but there is no place like Jamaica. The culture, mountains, greenery, river and springs etc. The economy has to get better though and the CRIME oh well. I have never been to France but I am infatuated with everything french.

I am however comfotable "enough" in the Bahamas. I have been blessed here.

if I had to... it would be TnT... though i dunno if i'd move to trinidad proper.... probably to Tobago which has a similar pace and way of life to how it is here on Exuma.

i love the energy in trini... but i have great distaste for big cities
