Trying to help out a young lady our families have been close for eons. She is 15 lives in Long Island and has come to stay with us every summer since that time.
She is at the age where she needs to start doing something with her life but she is un sure of where to begin. She is not sure of what she wants to do in life as she is exploring that right now. Its not about earning money right now but I will not let anyone take advantage of that she does not need money while she is with us but a few buck spending money would be cool. For her it’s about seeing what’s out there that she may be interested in.
She likes photography and to be photographed art as in paper and color, possibly tattoos. She like the computer but what teenager doesn’t.
She is a quit/shy yet likes to socialize kid (if that makes any sense) She could easily compete in the Miss Bahamas pageant.
People she is a good kid who would like to explore options for her future. I think she is open to trying anything as in a short term apprenticeship to see if she would be interested in following through as a career. I am not telling her I am posting this just pm and I will get her to give you a call.

The National Art Gallery has workshops and has had a summer intern program (not sure about this year) and can always use extra help. Perhaps she can volunteer there. I don't know if they can afford to pay but it would be a good experience. Also try the National Trust. Perhaps Pam & Jackson Burnside can use a hand at Doongalik. She will at least be able to meet other artists and gain some valuable information.
