Right again!
Btw, I forgot the basic need: CLEAR LAW--- once and for all! Who gets to stay, who gatta go. Forget about cries of discrimmination, etc. this is like the decision that was made back in '72-ish! We need to define: A BAHAMIAN CITIZEN --- and do so with the goal of The Bahamas we envision...

I hate when bahamians say things like this. Do you realise the bahamas has tought immigration laws than most countries

for example if a bahamian woman marries a foriegn man that foriegn man does have all kind of hell trring to get a work permit even though the two married.

children born in the bahamas to foriegn parents or even one forien parent under certain conditions are not automatically citizens.

forieng persons married to bahamains have been known to wait 5 yrs and more just for residency where as in the USA under this circumstance you get it with in 24 months.

in the bahamas a bahamian citizen is......

any one born unto both bahamians citizens whether in the bahamas or abroad

anyone born unto one bahamian parent who is married to their foriegn parent

anyone who becomes a naturalized citezen via marriage to bahamian or being born in the bahamas and having the ability to apply for status after age 18

Haitians slopes sailing from Haiti all the way up to Nassau isnt nothing new. this has been going on for decades. The questions is how is it that the authorities havent made the adjustments over the years? This is what frustrates me about bahamian governments, they never fix nothing. :realmad:

From wat I hear dese boats pose ta stop in Inagua...den da ppl dem pose ta use da local mailboat serwice ta geh ta town... So I jess guh take a gud guess...Cash n Corrupshun... :escape:

Get your facts straight. That dont happen in every case. Some people wait years before they get straight to live in the US. My cousin is a perfect example.

Yes...Bahamians in charge cause you know if it was a Haitian they would have been STOPPED by now.....

and how they does sail past more than half of the Bahamas all the way to Nassau without being detected is beyond me

I'm aware buddy! But, seems we still have too much fuzz.... we also need to get a handle on the immigration situation .... the leaks need to be sured up and the illegals reduced as best possible! In summary: we need order as with every other country in the world. Right now, my good Sir, I'm afraid too many see us as a big play ground....
