Very Sad Story,
We must contioue to prayer for these people that they would get the help needed. Im hoping that Obama once elected can help bring some help to that country.

No matter who wins the US election, Haiti will only be better if Haitans have the desire to rebuild Haiti.Ther are countless Haitians that have left the island to make a better way of life for themselves. And many more wealthy Haitians in Haiti that can invest in their own country to start the much needed change.

all well and good, but you do realize that the U.S. continues its (insane/myopic/paternalistic/your term here) trade embargo of haiti, yes?

i hope that president obama removes that idiocy once he takes office ... until the embargo is removed, expat haitians cannot effectively move to rebuild the country.

Hi,
I heard there was a fight that broke out and some residents had to help officers get them onto the buses? Anyone here anything about that?

Also, there's no embargo against haiti in our country is therE?

why not help haiti? bring jobs there. give people a reason to stay. we're the ones complaining the most. so let's do something about it. stop putting a band aid over the wound: find a cure.

The only embargo I know of is the embargo against their mangoes. but as I understood those monagoes go to florida and then we buy it from them.
