I was told that people swim there all the time. It is in fact a huge tourist attraction. My thing is when was it ever safe to swim in a blue hole? Aren't they like the proverbial bottomless pits of the ocean? Someone school me, because I have talked to others who say that they are safe to swim in.
its a great beach with shallow water going out for a ways, the blue hole on the left, just a small tiny portion of the beach, near the cliffs. A small hole may have opened up in the area that they were and then fell down into the hole, or something like that maybe.
