Nice Try but its not gern ta work buddy, let me show you a serious wibe. I come from a certain Country to the Bahamas Illegally and I have 8 chirren. I am illegal, they are legal. They will have the right to vote. They will eventually grow up. They may eventually run for office. They may become the Govt or marry/date a govt official. They may directly or indirectly change laws that affect Bahamians either personally or by their spouse. Dont forget that all Illegal Immigrants are criminals hence the term Illegal Immigration. Illegal Immigration is a Billion Dollar Industry in the Bahamas whether you want to wake up and accept it or not with many people in high places involved which seems to be a big problem the Bran Mcc is trying to fix.
I have a former co-worker who has family (Bahamian Family) who makes their living from doing so, its the #1 criminal activity going on in this country, Drugs, Guns Poaching, Sex Slaves are all Crimes wrapped around Illegal Immigration amoung others. Not only should every single person who comes here Illegally be deported at the expense of their home country, but the Bahamians involved should be sentenced to life in prison, if you have children or very young family, they are going to have it a billion times worse than we are because they will reap what we sewed.
People like you try to create a scapegoat, and ignorance and incite violence, but they turn a blind eye to the real problem and allow it to grow unchecked.
Please, I beg of you to think before you speak because if you ever had the opportunity to go on the seas to see someone pay $5000 a head to not get arrested while importing not only Illegal Immigrants but Guns and drugs, what are you talking about, this is 2008 and you seem to not know whats really going on in The Bahamas but all hope is not lost for you because on B.I. you will get an education.

I still think you are merely trying to sensationalize a problem that contributes a percentage to, but does not account for all crime.

The real crime problems here stem from our history. Look back a few hundred years. Pirates and privateers, shipwreckers, blockade runners, bootleggers, drug runners, and now human smuggling. Pindling and his crooked cronies did not help the situation by providing safe harbour for the Columbians who were pushing coke through to the US. Many many Bahamians made a pretty penny off of that, and it was all right out in the open. When the masses see the leaders and the supposed fathers of the nation getting away with these crimes, and avoiding prosecution, it is seen as green light to pursue their own criminal acts.

"Do as I say, not as I do" doesn't work so well.

This country is in serious trouble since most rank and file officers on the Force have a total disregard for the laws that they are supposed to enforce. The scandal at Central Police Station is just the tip of the iceberg.

Media got to agree with this one... I mean is it that the powers that be just have their heads in the sand? Tell me how is it that the community at large can see what the crime rate is doing to this country (not to mention the crimes the public does not hear about) and those responsible for fighting crime cannot see it.
