so in essence we wait two to three years for results, when all of this doesn't even matter anymore. Interesting stratergy.

If you recall, I told you all a month before it happened that Leon Williams would get the sack for corruption -- and he did. It took a month but he did. And the official reason was that he did not share the vision.

I am telling you sure as shooting, that there will be consequences and people will pay for their actions with the loss of jobs.

And and and .... so will Marlon Johnson and Eldri Ferguson and a whole batch of management ... and when that day happens, it will be a great day for the Bahamas.

Ok Lurker, a few questions.

Why you gat beef with Marlon Johnson. Homeboy don't look like he could hurt a fly. Seem like he is a does what he's told type. This isn't the first time you've singled him out, though.

Is Eldri Ferguson the short haircut lady who was seen riding on the back of one of the BTC trucks on the Cable 12 footage?

Why should we buy the allegation that Williams was corrupt. If they (government) aren't willing/prepared to pursue legal recourse, why spread innuendo?

Muddo: They musse saving them allegations up for a rainy day. I guess since Wayne Munroe say BTC decided not to negotiate and are going to court all of Leon's "corruption" will be brought out then to save them from having to pay him all that money hey Lurker?

This country don't just belong to you nor the FNM, it belong to BAHAMIANS.

To quote Perry Christie, God gave the Bahamas to the PLP.

Like I said before, you are not wrong about the union's actions. However, that still does not justify using fear in the workplace to make BTC a better functional entity for us all. Isn't that what we want at the end of the day?

It is not fear Techno-Bunny, it is rather an epiphany.

Do you work? If so, I'm sure there are rules, regulations, service level requirements, performance plans, etc.

If you do not maintain the set standards, you could be warned, penalized, suspended, or fired. It's the same principle. Consequence for your actions on the job. If you do not perform in the manner you should, you face losing your job. It's just the realization for regular Bahamians, with regular jobs.

Government workers, on the other hand, do not face the strict consequences for their non-performance. Especially with the gorilla-union they are involved with.

Unions on the whole have just lost the sense of what they were formed for.

All that needs to be done, is give another company a license to operate a phone company, and shut the b!+ch down (BTC).

See what the hell they ga do then. And I don't want noone post in reply to me talking about what about all the workers who ga lose their jobs, and gat family to feed, etc. Because what about the taxi drivers, or bus drivers, or anyone else, who lost income as a result of their foolishness the other day blocking the road? What about the person who may have been late to work because of them? Trying to get to the hospital or have an emergency?

If the workers are concerned about their jobs and their families, they would not agree or take part in an act like yesterday's, which had so much negative impact on all of us.

Also, all this is teaching our youth is that you can force people to give you what you want.

I might as well park my car sideways in front of parliament because I want a higher raise than I got this year.

As someone mentioned this matter has been resolved by a court order from Justice Lyons. Based on the terms of the order, I doubt that Farqui will be showin' his *** off again. I could hear Hubert sayin' "Bietch"!

It was Chaos who said that the courts would be used to keep Farqui in check. Chaos was right. I thought that the government would take a different tack first.

What are you referring to about court order? I'm curious!
