He does lie, I still waitin on the deserted island crawfish dinner in the airconditioned tent.
Wow! I did something like that once. On the beach with a diningroom table, chairs, carpet, candles and a butler to serve!!! I scored some points that day!!! :)

Have we moved from the Anti-Christ?

Hey Bishop I going to bring a nice wedding gift for you and the preachers wife from the Music City for christmas. Miss concerned doesn't know you is an upright respectable man in Freeport just like she is in Nassau and the bible does say the man is the head of the house and she must submit to you. a little though to throw out there. Miss Concerned give the bishop another chance he means well and I will keep him on his feet since i will be getting my preachers licensed at the end of the month.

But religion (and to a lesser extent, politics) is one of the most interesting subjects there is. Its roots lay deep in the past and in the collective sub-conscious of humanity. Its complexities are endless. It ability to shape a society is fascinating. It’s effects on a person can be startling - for the good or the bad.
We only get into trouble when we talk about it with someone who does not understand what religion really is - more particularly, their own religion.

I have had a couple of good religious debates on this site, debates with people who know their religion but are willing to learn about other faiths as well. I doubt we changed minds, that was not what it was all about. It was about opening minds. These debates went well until someone who did not understand comes in and “throws stones.”
