Do you really think that such a thing is realistic? Many people have this notion that all the entire nation has to do is just turn to God "and the land will be healed"......yeah....like it's really that simple.

Forget throwing everyone in the mix.....just in Christiandom alone, in this day and age, when most spiritual Chirstians claim to know and hear the voice and direction of God/Christ/Holy Spirit, many still have a variety of identities of what God is to them and the values thereof. Members of denominations pic and choose the values of their orders to follow....caffeteria Catholics and Protestants. Then we add all the other faiths including the idea of Atheism where even there is a system of values there. Every single individual varies way too differently for such a situation to happen.

Suk teet...well en he is the "prophet of God"? Instead of telling us he stress out, why not tell us what God is saying RIGHT NOW for the nation?
This is what I dont get with these religious leaders. On the one hand they say they want the government to heed the voice of the church..but then when the church leaders speak, they either tell you what you already know, or they tell u they dont know more, and maybe a bit less than you.
The prophets in scripture spoke to nations and kingdoms and spoke with specificity such that the people had direction. If these men were of such stock, people would take them seriously. But instead, he tellin you he dont have much hope either. Gee thanks "Father."
Maybe he does not have the gift of prophecy. It doesn't seem that many in the church these days have some of those spiritual gifts mentioned in the Bible..

Another thing, remember the Gomez Report which was presented to govt some years ago -- seems that that was shelved and never implemented..

Do you believe ANY Bahamas govt would implement advice from the citizens even if the advice is extremely good?

Well doesn't the Bible say, "Preach the gospel and by it you shall live." Its plenty work preaching and praying for all those members, funeral services, etc, so church leaders deserve a good salary..

With all these crimes and other antisocial behaviour we are experiencing now, if all Bahamians were to turn our backs on God, this place will soon be washed in blood. Thank God for those of us who pray for this nation..

I believe we are experiencing signs of the times, WORLDWIDE. I will repeat something I have siad on this forum a number of times: In chapters 2 and 3 of the book of Revelation, Christ speaks of the 7 churches, and the sad thing is that only 2 out of the 7 were pleasing Him -- that is 28.6%. Many Bible scholars believe only that same percentage of churches worldwide is pleasing Him today!

I believe this.. and perhaps there could well be only 28% of church goers who are Christians! We should bear in mind that the church cannot hold a gun to our heads and force us to live a moral life; the church can only preach the gospel and encourage us to be persons of integrity.
