Hi,
I really need help from the correct sources, I live in Santiago, Chile and both my parents died and left me a piece of land 10,000 square feet in Great Exuma. But I don't know how to get in touch with the correct government office to find out if It is still mine and the address as I lost the papers.
Please someone help me.

I would suggest you visit Exuma IN PERSON. Go to that island's local Commisioner's Office and let him/her research the details. DO NOT give details to any person who may contact you especially if said person is a lawyer. Do this in person. If i were you, I would NOT post my email address either.
If you want accurate information about that property in Exuma, make sure you visit the island YOURSELF.

Yes, you could very easily lose that land if you don't act quickly and go about it smartly.

check LANDS AND SURVEYS in Nassau and also contact a lawyer to deal with it.
