If you had $1,000.00, whom would you invest in? Should I throw FG capital markets in the mix as well?
Does this make sense? Am I comparing apples and oranges here?
Your thoughts please.

No question -- Fidelity. CFAL is an Enron waiting to happen.

I would invest it in Gasoline (providing I had a 200 gallon storage tank) from Esso today. In a month, it will be worth $1200.

Er, ok. I knew that CFAL was a little slack, (don't ask), but an Enron?
Is FG too new? I'm not sure they know what they're doing yet.

I went to take $50,000 of fix in the bank to put on Fidelity. The manager asked me why I was moving the money I told him for a higher rate and he bumped it up to 6% saying he can’t let that kind of money leave his bank. Then opened a CFAL account they asked me if I want put some money into stocks but they will chose which stock.:gi:

Banks are in the business of making money and once you let them know, they will increase the rate to the competitors.

As a customer you have a right to request a better rate also!

Sounds like a mutual fund, but I had queries about this same kind of thing. A relative was inquiring about the underlying securities of a CFAL fund, and was told that they could not give out that type of information. Does that sound right?

No. They should tell you the underlying securities. In real countries, they must disclose it by law. This prevents Ponzi schemes whereby they pay interest out of new subscriptions.

Don't put a dollar in CFAL. Trust me when I say that.

I told them that it was strange, but they went ahead and did it anyway.
