It has felt like an eternity since I left school back in 1999. When I did attend, I remeber getting caned from the senior mistress or senior master (of course I was always innocent of any wrong doing :D ). Bt mty question is, do they still allow corporal punishent in the public school system? I know several instances have called it into question, particulary the young man that died at SC McPherson a few years ago after getting caned.

Unless the punishment is not bad enough that the student/criminal does not want it inflicted on them they will continue to do wrong.
This does not mean forgiveness can't be given once or twice but after that the cane/cat.

i am all for coporal punishemt in the skools, but i do want corporal punishemnt to come from admin alone!

see the thing is i dont want any old teacher who has a grudge on a student to be taking it out on them at a whim..and i know for a fact that some teachers have greivances with students, it is a human quality not to like someone!
but.....we need to cane them, and keep the "real trouble kids" in longer school periods!!\
