nationbuilder 10-01-08, - 01:51 PM Globalized, fa goodness sake.
Some a we carn stop tinkin pass da front room door, you talkin global.
*suck teeth*
I remember the illegal work stoppage a few years ago at the Freeport Container Port. The guys were sitting outside for days drinking beer and eatin KFC and having a fun ole time staying off their jobs (even though they were among the highest paid folk on the island with benefits.)
Then when the investor said it would pull its investment out of Freeport, they wanted to get mad and demand the govt make them stay. Many of the people involved in the strike were eventually fired. You cripple the man's operation but demand that he must not go a step? You mussy flippin crazy.
Look at the Morton folk! Every Friday they had party celebrating not going to work. When Morton gave them $1000 each the other day, they got mad and said, "what we gern do with this?" THESE PEOPLE SICK MAN.
natureboy2136 10-01-08, - 02:37 PM So if they enraged over pay cuts then let them have their pick of punishment
1. Jail Time
2. Push the BTC vehicles to Bay St. and back on a public holiday so we could line the streets and cheer
3. Pay Cut
Bet a pay cut looking good compared to the first two. Yeah & i hope these same people strike & strike so the government could feel it bad. I support the workers all the way. I hate this government & i'm ready to support the workers. I which this situation leads to a general strike to hurt this Ingraham disgracful government. His government is only for the rich & the foreigners & don't give two cent about the people who supported it. I pray this government don't last for a full 5 year term. I hope this government is meet with alot of protest to force an early election.

I agree with you 100%, but in the bahamas these people refuse to change in a globalize environment and we have to change we can't afford to stay the same. It is beyond my mental capacity to understand the bahamain nature of entitlement and lawlessness.
They feel like they are owed everything from the day there were born. They feel like they can do anything and when they get caught especially the children, there parents huff and puff on tv crying saying my son or daughter is a good child. They strike when they want to and expect to get off free. This town so backwards its no wonder we dont have people who ACTUALLY did create the internet and google. These people are sick man sick sick.

I cannot wait for privatization........all the slackness will stop!

Looks to me from your post's this is more about YOU than the well being of the country. Your rants are amusing but at the same time they scare the hell out of me as if the majority took your views as gospel the boat lift to Miami would be in full swing.

wide eye 10-01-08, - 03:21 PM So you do realise this is not about the PLP nor the FNM, this is about people that work for US taking advantage of US and holding the ENTIRE country hostage. They where WRONG, they did ILLEGAL acts and they should be punished, end of story. GET IT?
