Strange, I never heard of this until a police stop yesterday evening outside the hilton. They couldnt stop me for anything else because my vehicle is new and has no issues, so they were probably making it up anyway. And i didnt have my music up loud, and I turn it down in residential areas, and generally keep it low anyway (getting old?).

How are they going to enforce this, what level is too loud, surely to give you a ticket for this, they must have some sought of recorder, or something to test the level of noise!? Else it would never stand up in court.

Also, they need to come down at 7 am on Eastern Road, when traffic past my house (10 feet from the road), blasting 3000 Watts of base, in slow moving traffic. That definately should get a ticket.

BUT, so should more important things like, no signal (most dangerous next to running red lights), no brake lights, blue smoke (deadly), black smoke (sickening), idiots cutting in front of traffic (shoot them!!), people running oncoming cars off the road (castrate them!!).

In other words, the police are full of it! They think giving a person a ticket for loud music, or too dark a tint, is more important then preventing traffic accidents or deaths from getting the people off the road that dont signal, have deadly exhaust smoke, and running read lights. Blue smoke is a slow death by the way.

Just who trains the police, or the police chiefs????? They need to go back to common sense school :D :D :D :D

I'm amazed at this! I've never heard Rory play his car radio too loud and I'm extremely sensitive to noise!

Where were the police when two guys were cleaning a car yesterday in front of CIBC in the Hoffer Shopping Centre, Cable Beach, with the car owner's car doors wide open and the radio blasting?!

Also, their car cleaning materials were all over the side walk and I had to step around them to get past, plus put my fingers in my ears to shut out the loud, thumping noise from the car radio!
