First question is why are human beings cruel?
Its because they fear what they don't understand.
Why don't they understand transgender because no one has ever told them.
So they go on ignorance and label people on that ignorance.

I will live free or I will die free but I will be free.

Well, it would be foolish of me to say that there isn't a fair amount of prejudice even within the gay community. There are many gays and lesbians who feel that transgendered people don't have a valid argument to support their cause, but considering we're all in the same kinda boat (with respect to validity), it's not for me to judge. But there is a growing interest in the topic of transgendered individuals (I've seen shows on TLC about transsexuals and crossdressers) so it would appear that their voice is slowly strengthening.

its so funny cuase i have heard a few gay people say bi's are crazy, confused and all kinds of other stuff. they even have little jokes and names for a person that was gay and then turn hetro, a hetro turned gay, a gay living a hetro lifestyle etc. I BE LIKE YOU PEOPLE AINT GOT NO SORT OF ROOM TO BE TALKING. i guess predjudice and class sorting is everywhere in society

You know I was not going to respond to this thread, but I have a question Vicky, are you comfortable with who you are? Because if you are, then why are you trying to make your transgenderism such an issue on Bahamasissues. You are a man that lives, dresses, and leads your daily life as a woman, that is fine and dandy. You have repeatedly mentioned the fact that you have a supportive wife and family. You have accepted and embraced who you are? How important is is to force your acceptance of who you are on others? Do we really matter in that stance, I dont think so.

Once you are allowed to live your life with whom you want and how you want, that is the greatest gift any of us can really ask for. Appreciate that and focus on that. If you have found peace within yourself, no man and his opinions and beliefs should be able to disrupt that. There will never be full equality or acceptance until we reach to the glory gates of heaven.

These are very good questions.
I am very comfortable with who I am I would like my daily presentation to be a bit more fem than I am doing now as in the makeup I wear but it is not a major factor in my life.
Doing this on Bahamasissues is a very convenient media outlet that is interactive. Just as you are doing now, people can ask questions.
I am not forcing acceptance I am giving knowledge. For example how many of you thought all guys that dress in women’s clothes are homosexual????

My wife kids and family are a blessing that not many tranys find. Why??? Mostly because of ignorance and fear.
My family fear for me every day.

How many of you have ever heard of Gynecomastia http://www.gynecomastia.org/content/general/gynart.shtml
or Klinfelter Syndrome http://www.gynecomastia.org/content/general/klinsyd.shtml
Just points in fact that the gender division is not so great.
I would guess to say none of you.

What would happen in this world if good people did nothing? Yesterday I saw some young boys throwing rocks at dogs. I pulled over and talked with them. Hopefully they now understand the dog is 1 of the Creators animals and has a right to life with out being stone just for a laugh.
Either good people will stand up for all humanity or humanity is doomed.

Once you are allowed to live your life with whom you want and how you want, that is the greatest gift any of us can really ask for. This is true. However the first 35 years of my life was a living torture. I did not know what was wrong with me. Why did the boys in school pick on me? It was never just 1. Who could I turn to and ask questions. I was afraid very afraid. Why did God hate me? Why did God do this to me? All of this in a Childs mind. At the age of 35 I found out and my wife was there. You know what you might say that was the beginning of the Rainbow Alliance for me. I was not going to let other kids have to go though life as I did. Right now as we speak there is Bahamian Trany who at the age of 14 got aids because she was kick out of the house by her parents. 14 on the street no money no home no food no job. What do you think happened????? I was to dam late is what happened. People like most here just looked the other way while she was abused because she did not fit into society. Appreciate that and focus on that. I will never turn a blind eye to inhumanity If you have found peace within yourself, no man and his opinions and beliefs should be able to disrupt that. As I said I will live free or will die free but I will be free There will never be full equality or acceptance The thing is how long will you accept it how long will everyone else accept it? until we reach to the glory gates of heaven.

Christ taught heaven is not here or there but within us.

hey vicky,

do you think or believe that society will ever come to the point of understanding and accepting GBLT's as society now accepts black people? even though racism is still alive and well it has decreased a thousand times over than in the past when blacks had different restrooms, schools, couldnt go to college etc.

I dont think Black People & Gays can be used in the same content hun, thats just my 5 cents. Many may agree or disagree !!

My reason for my above comment is one is born black, white, asian etc but I honestly dont think one is born Gay....

I Will Also Add This, I Can Accept The Color Of A Man's Skin, For I Believe We Are All One No Matter Race Or Color But I Do Not Have To Accept The Way A Man Lives His Life.
