PRESS RELEASE:
SUPREME COURT ORDER AGAINST PASTOR PAUL BUTLER
In an Order dated 5th May, 2005, and signed on 21st inst., in the case of Leslie Moss (Plaintiff) vs. Paul Butler (Defendant), the Supreme Court states, inter alia, “it is hereby ordered that the Defendant be restrained by himself, his servants or agents or otherwise from entering onto or allowing to be done on the said property of the Plaintiff, the subject of this matter, any construction, building or works or any war interfering with the plaintiff in his enjoyment of his said property. The Defendant is ordered to pay cost in this matter to the Plaintiff”.
For two years now, I have attempted to get the Pastor to take responsibility for his and his agents’ actions in destroying my property and rendering it of no further use to me. I have spent and owe thousands of dollars on legal, court and other fees, not to mention the affect this has had on my family’s life. His attorney is now only concerned about saving face before the Courts, rather than having his client do what is right, not only by man’s law but more importantly by the laws of the very God he serves.
I have gone without income for almost three years now as I struggle with Royal Bank of Canada in a separate suit before the Supreme Court. This matter with the Pastor has drained a lot of my financial, time and other resources. Worst of all, I have two sons, one 5 and the other barely 1, for whom I must provide.
In our society today, fair is foul and foul is fair. Those of us who find ourselves downtrodden tend to give up or give in. I, for one, do not subscribe to this sad decision. I call on those of like mind to speak out against this and other wrongs being perpetrated by those who are held in highest trust in our land.
Should the Pastor and his attorney continue to defy doing what is right, I will to look to the Courts and other authorities for justice. My sons, all children in this country, do not deserve this.
Sincerely,
Mr. Leslie N. Moss, Plaintiff
