:realmad:
IN THIS SOCIETY THERE SEEMS TO BE A VERY PREESING ISSUE THAT MOST OF US ARE NOT COMMENTING ON. :taped: MY QUESTION TO THIS FORUM IS WHO HAS THE MOST POWER THE CHURCH OR THE LODGE. RECENTLY A FRIEND OF MINE WAS IN A SERIOUS MATTER INVOLVING A HIGH DEGREE MEMBER WITHIN THE LODGE AND WAS REALLY DEVASTED. :taped2: HE TRIED ALL THAT HE COULD TO GET JUSTICE IN THAT MATTER BUT WAS REJECTED BY THE COURTS CONCERNING THE MATTER, AND THE PERSON WAS NEVER EVEN TO THE COURTS. :realmad: NOW MY FRIEND IS A STRONG BELIEVER IN THE LORD AND NEVER REALLY INVOLVED HIMSELF IN THE CULTS OF LODGE. :taped: BUT AS A RESULT OF HIS ORDEALS REALIZED THAT THIS COUNTRY IS IN THE HANDS OF THE LODGE. :realmad: IS THE CHURCH REALLY LOSING IT GRIP ON THE PEOPLE AND IS THE LODGE THE ONLY FORM OF JUSTICE FROM THIS SOCIETY. THIS MATTERS ARE VERY PRESSING AND I AM MUCH INTERESTED IN THE ISSUES FROM THE BAHAMIAN PEOPLE.

it sounds a little conspiracy theoryish to me but...
maybe he didnt have a strong enough case?
maybe he didnt go through the direct channels to get his "voice" heard?
always remember that at the end of the day, right does prevail over might!

It's "conspiracy theorish" because it hasn't happened to you yet.
McPhee, I hear you and I feel for your friend, matter of fact, what you described right now is why I'm off Nassau (probably never to return).

Tiaesq, I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever that McPhee's friend DID go through the proper channels and DID what was necessary. But those "proper channels" have been compromised and corrupted, and if you haven't realized that yet, you've been asleep.

You say "at the end of the day", I ask you WHICH day?

I've found the "Christian" response to this subject to be EXTREMELY similar to the response to Hurricane Katrina's aftermath. See when people lose their homes (as was my case) they don't need cliches, they need justice and love.

To answer your question McPhee, it burns me to say it but it seems The Lodge has the power and they will continue to do so until the Church wakes up and stops focusing on petty things like Skin Colour, Gender, and Who does put what where during sex.
The Church continues to be pretentious, sluggish, slaughtering, forsaking and raping it's own. Somewhere it stopped focusing on God ("the least of these") and focused on "looking good/productive".

Ask yourself: Where were the Church Members when your friend needed help? As I said, I myself went through the same thing, not a one called or came by to see how we were doing...and you know why right?

Because The Lodge has assimilated the Majority of all Churches.

Find books brother. There are some out there that explain how the Masonic Lodge is structured. Then take a look at the Structure of today's Churches.

When you have males members jockeying for position of laud and tenure (instead of (Lord and Tenet), females in constant competition with respect to who have the biggest hat and feel the need to disguise gossip and esoteric knowledge as "Let me share something with you about Sister ________ /Brother ________ ."

Tell me what that is: ain't that a Lodge?

There is no one Lodge. There are a number of different ones. They are really called Fraternal Orders. There are the Mason, Knights of Columbus, Oddfellows and the Elks to name but a few.

To some Church groups Fraternal Orders are against their beliefs (unless they are their own orders. Catholics have the Knights of Columbus.) Some others are held to be downright Demonic!

Man, when I studied religion in college, I learned about the Masonic Lodge. They're the ones with the "G", compass and angle symbol, seen on rings, and cars and even some stores.
That stuff is really deep, and I don't even wanna talk about it too deeply, because of possible consequences. :taped2:
They are a tight brotherhood, who look out for their "brothers" even over family and friends. Many join them because it ensures advancement on the job, and other benefits, because of the high class members in it.
They don't appear different from ordinary groups, but try staying behind after the funeral of a lodge member. You won't be allowed to. They perform their own "ceremony" afterwards in which they are said to turn the body over, facing down, and other things unmentionable.
Revealing secrets of the lodge is said to be severely punishable, even to death, spreading the body over the "four corners of the world".

There are many books available about it, but you won't find too much in great detail, for obvious reasons as I eluded to above.

But in response to the initial post.....yes, the lodge runs this town.

it wont happen to me at all, why because i dont buy into foolishness, if any of you all think im a trip through my writings this isnt even 10% of the real person. I work hard, I earned my keep. Let them play if they want too. As for you leaving, you ran from your problems, what about your dignity?

You would be surprised to know how many are or were (not nuts, leaders.) George Washington was a Freemason, so was Winston Churchill, the list goes on and on. :)

This must go back to prehistoric times. Remember Fred Flintstone belonged to the Waterbuffalo Lodge!
