I'm surprised that no one here has acknowledged his passing.
He was do dedicated and passionate about operations at the AIDS Camp.
I pray that someone takes up the cause to pick up where he left off.

I just found out about his death last night. I knew him to be a humble and kind man. Last time I spoke with him was about a month ago and I noticed that he wasn't as vibrant as he usually was. He was doing the usual; out shopping with his car filled with kids affected with the virus. I wonder who will do that now? He was truly a hero and I am sure he will be missed.

Is he the chap who ran the AIDS camp? If so, his passing is a great blow to us all. He did what most of us fear to do.

Here is where I take my hat off to a truely GOOD Bahamian! This man went into the wildiness (so to speak) and brought comfort to those that society has cast by the wayside and brought them a measure of dignity in their hour of most distressing need.
I truely feel ashame of our nation for the little honor we bestored upon one who dare to live his christianity as a badge of honor and grace!
I guess if he was a big showoff as most who hold power in this country, we would have cried holy Moses when he died. But because he stood for the true good of his fellowmen, we treated him as a person to keep out of sight.
But, I do feel cheated at his death. Who will be the beacon on the hill now?
Mr Nottage was a wise man....he lived to please God only!
As a Bahamian, I take this opportunity to honor a magnificent man of courage, compassion, love and true wisdom! He gave of himself for our down trodden brother and sisters. If we put all of our truely great leaders together, I would put them in this order. Nottage, Ingraham, Fawks and Pindling! These are the greatest Bahamians in that order! I am sure that others had some degree of greatness, but these individuals served the people with a genuine desire to better the down trodden!! But Mr. Nottage stands out by himself. Like the widow with her little mite, he may have given less in the national eyes...but he gave all that he had! That makes him the true father of what this nation should be! :heartbeat
SLEEP DEAR BROTHER, YOUR MEMORY WILL BE A GUIDE FOR WHAT WE ALL SHOULD BE!!!
THANKS FOR SHOWING ME THE TRUE GOSPEL IN SHOE LEATHER!

The bahamas has lost an 'angel' of a man, indeed. Mr Glenroy Nottage is truly an exceptional individual-one of a kind- with a heart of gold. He was no coward. He spoke out against the powers that be when he felt he needed too. I salute this great bahamian. May God give his family and friends comfort in there hour of bereavement.
