Tribune, punch (love that Scribe), Journal (try to duck Eneas mostly), Confidential Source (go Bubba), Southern Times, Black Belt (like to see Gorman bust a gut now and again) and Guardian (because of Bumpy Walkins 50 cent is too much to waste on a paper with him all the time...Sorry Craig Butler, I know ya good, but ya next to that joke) in that order of balance and freedom from political influences for or against!

THE TRIBUNE HAS ALWAYS STAYED ABOVE THE POLITICAL POO POO FLOATING AROUND OUR HEADS!

Tribune
Nassau Guardian
online:
Times of London and some other british papers
Bahama Journal
Bahamasuncensored....not a newspaper but interesting commentary

I refuse to read the Punch, Confidential Source, Black Belt and all those "papers" that feed into the gossip culture that can ruin families and demean a community.

Does anyone know if the Tribune has an online edition?

I do not think so and I find it surprising in this day and age!

I tried them Miami Herald website since The Tribune is its Bahamas edition, wasnt there. I guess they feel that if it's online paper sales will drop, but what about the ad-space online which should be pricy for the nation's #1 newspaper.

Reading newspapers today has become too expensive, .75 cents. The improvement are next to none. However, when I could have afford itmy first choise has always been the Tribubne, I now question why is the Tribune not online as yet. A newspaper in these days and time not on line is an insult to its readers.

Then I buy the Guardian only when Watkings is not in it. AND I wonder what the Guardian must be thinking, why do they allow a person who has noting to say to say so much, retire that man fully.

I dear not miss the Punch for no reason. Yet I never read gripevines as I feel I cannot take time to figure out what gossip is happening. BUT I love the headlines and that is right the entire story is in the headlines. Next I read Nikkie Kelly, letters to the editor and the scribe. Page 3, is a must.

Then the Journal, but by then my funds and budget does not allow me to get it more then once a week. I like the black belt, but I have a hard time trying to figure out where it stand these days. I guess they support the defunked CDR, or maybe a third force.

All in all, ZNS fails us every newscast and everyday. Seems to me if a PLP Minister and Ron Pinder blows their nose that is the story for the rest of the week and their reports are all suck up to government ministers and PLP operatives.

Let us privatize ZNS.

Now we need a newspaper totally dedicated to completely recounting and qualifying the promises made by Perry Christie and now evulating all of them to see how faithful or did he Perry Christie lived up to any of them.

This is so needed.

Truly Fox news isn't really news...
Its just drama!

Fox news is good news...it is the other side!
other than that liberal media everything.

It is refeshing to hear the other side of the debate...and in case you arent watching, america is becoming alot more conservative.
Because conservative does not mean racist, all white, neo con bible thumping christians, war mongers, money whores and small minded thinkers.
All of those traits were the hallmarks of democrats for years...
never in my life have i heard the hate for america under this administration than i have heard under any other administration.

And it is NOT because more people are angry...it is because more "news organizations" have an agenda out on Bush and report him in a negative way, becasue they are establishment....
And with all of that...you liberal whack jobs still cant touch him...and he flaunts it, and i like it!
he has done nothing damaging for his country that is considerably worse than any other president has done.

He won, so let him do things his way!

You are right - We report, You decide. Good concept. It would be good when on these talk shows here in the Bahamas present views from both sides (government vs. opposition) are presented and reports are made to ask fair and balanced questions.

We are able to accept it... It would encourage us as listeners to be more objective, but ZNS ... I do not know their problem is they are all to political.

AS for the US moving and becoming a lot more conservative, that is so right. As for George W. for some reason he hs won over the democrats for everytime and he gets them for every time. I guess they feel now they can only win if they take over the courts, but even there no dice.

I really long for the day when we here in the Bahamas can vote becuse of our idological positions and not so much b/c of the personalities that exist. Honestly, the way things are going now is so pathic. Recall when Perry Christie was saying the FNM selling out the country. Now look at at, Perry is giving away our country and all of our birth rights. Yet, I see no one standing up against it all. BUT I believe that that Bahamian people are quietly waiting to really vote this government with its hot air right out of office.

Everything media here is political!!!
lol...

And the reason why he wins is because he has a clear and prescise mission and plan, while the democrats go on whimsy and spur of the moment.
No matter what they say that Bush does not have a plan, yes he does and the Republicans have and are allways more organized than the Democrats!
I mean, the democrats make it sooo easy for him to win, and to be honest i am probably smarter than bush, but they cna not catch him and it is more to do with the country turning conservative on their own...it has to do with bush influencing persons to see it in a conservative light!

I really long for the day when we here in the Bahamas can vote becuse of our idological positions and not so much b/c of the personalities that exist.
Please let us pray!

And really all of the "selling out the country" rhetotic really has no base, i mean it is as old hack as democrats and republicans rambling over social security and entitlements!!
The debate is so confused and worthless til it really is pathetic..on both sided, PLP and FNM.
