Computers are made up of a myriad of different components, many of which contain elements which are harmful to our environment (a 15" monitor contains 1.5 pounds of lead). As Bahamians dump these components into our dump, what really is the amount of chemicals and elements that are draining into our local water table?

Do we need to open up recycling centers soon to keep up with our ongoing societal progress? And would Bahamians really take the time to separate our glass, plastic and metal garbage from the rest?
