She does have a dam good lawyer.

Get it right, she called on us. We provided a lawyer and we backed off. She called on us again and asked to use the center. The only thing we did was tell here over and over again of the changes in her life this would cause. We know first hand of the discrimination that you speak of. We warned her of the possible violence she might face. Yes we coached her alright but not as you imply. Do you know how many times I looked this young lady in the eye and asked her "are you sure??? You do this and the life you had is over". I will not say I am not proud of her she has more guts than most of you. After all she is not hiding behind a screen name and an avatar. She is no mindless dumy. This is not something that just came up 2 days ago. Months ago her lawyer contacted the committee trying to settle this quietly, But nothing. So at the suggestion of another pageant organizer (nothing to do with the Alliance) who said "take it to the media".

So speak what you know or ask questions other than that stop spreading gossip.

You should have told that child point blank NO! when it came to showing her face and giving her name to the media! You have children Vicky, you wouldn't have allow them to do this, even if they pushed the issue that they wanted to. In hindsight you have negoitated longer and harder, and compramise.

Channel 12 early evening news had a full report on this. They had a pretty good interview with the committee, most of whom seem to be upstanding, intelligent, attractive young women. The committee said that they did not consider stripping the young lady of her crown. They spoke extensively on the matter.

They said that the 2 ladies who founded the pagent wanted the pagent to be run on Christian principles. They are now deceased but they were firm in that requirement. They are actually catering to chaste young teens of high moral standards.

According to them the young queen was not following the rules of the pagent. They claimed she has received most of her prizes, and that many of the events she was required to attend she did not attend and did not even give them a reason for not attending!

There were 12 events which the queen should have attended which were sponsered by some of the business houses who were awarding the prizes which she never attended even though she was specifically requested and required to attend. This was one of the reasons she did not receive some of her prizes.

Apparently when they got wind of this sexual orientation business, they wanted to do a private meeting with the queen to deal with the situation in a delicate and tactful manner, but again could not get the co-operation of the queen.

Now please bear in mind that the above has absolutely nothing to do with my views -- It is only what I gathered from watching the channel 12 news.

There ya go! A reasonable explanation...It all makes sense...but of course...the rainbow Alliance took advantage of the opportunity, to fight for their cause...

Plus, in some beauty pagents, after the queen has won, she is no longer allow to have physical relations with her boyfriend...in fact, there are times when the queen must have chaperone with her in order to see her boyfriend. This is in order to not allow scandals to happen...I guess we may have to adopt the same type of principles.

That's a big if. Why would you base your opinion of the committee on an "if" that may or may not have happened?? Isn't *THAT* what discrimination is or what we call "prejudice" -- prejudging before learning the truth. So far we are prejudging based on one side of the story.

Its interesting that people who claim to be against such prejudice are encouraging you to do it in their favor.

lol....If i do ask her that Vicky she would automatically realize that she was never gay, I am sexy as hell...the young child would be all over me....that is why i don't flirt with children. Besides as a seasoned man, and someone with an alternative lifestyle as yourself, you can look into this child eyes and see that she is going through stuff. YOU know what is sad...so sad...she is doing something that no one in your organization has done...which is telling the entire world in one shot, that she is gay! Even yesterday in the hospital in medical clinic a woman started having shortness of breath. They needed a wheel chair (PMH)to get her down to the chest pain unit, there was none available . I helped Dad out of our wheel chair and took her down helped her into bed. They whole way the nurse that was with us referred to me as female the woman referred to me as female. My being transgender was so unimportant at the time.

This matter seems to me to be a sad media attempt by your people Vicky. But I strongly believe that this will back-fire on the Rainbow Alliance and you'll would regret the day this began. As we said we support her in this apparent discrimanation. The media never printed our statement.
