Wow neuroscience, seems tough. If I were you, I'd check out the employment exchange, (or let your folks do it, if your in Easton) and since you would probably want to utlize that degree of yours you can apply to all health care centers in the country.

Maybe its time to place a moratorium on higher education aka higher debit, we cannot as a country continue having students engage in the process and at the end asking and looking for a job? We need students at the end of this process creating industries, if they are not then its simply a waste of time. a reminder education has but one purpose to make the student a responsible handler of power, any thing else is a waste of time.

Hello, sadly you need capital to start a business – let alone a new industry… I am a manufacture. At present, I can only manufacture software. It is one of the few things that can be done with little capital. Yet, it costs a lot – in terms of time and sleep.

I can also do other things, but my resources are limited. I’d be glad to start a new industry, but it is not as easy as you might think… Getting a loan is only a small portion of the problem. (Wish I had more “time” to discuss further :( )

Marco Bridgewater: i never said it was easy but; If you were in a education program you would know how to acquire the resources that are necessary for your venture, this is what education dose for the individual. What passes as education is the training of persons to be clogs in the great capitalistic/communistic market. You should attempt to find ways around your challenges, this is what any educated person would do, i recommend studing the life of hanibal and his fight against rome, if you want to know about what a educated person can do? look at hanibal.

Or Forrest Gump

Here is a classical example of what kind of thinking you are trying to avoid. Can any one tell me what the practical comparisons of forest gump to hanibal is in the field of education? Casualobserver you silly antics are only match by rory, you are both eating from the same plate.

Pardon me!

I'm not comparing Hanibal to Gump at all

I fail to see how references to a warmonger (very anit-hippie of you) provide any sort of guidance to the graduating class. At age 10, he was asked to swear eternal allegiance to Rome! This seems completely opposite to every other position you have taken. A siege of 8 months on the city of Sanuntum led to the outbreak of the 2nd Punic war! Is this really what you are encouraging people to do? I thought you stopped protesting in your 20's because you realized that it was a fruitless effort? Or were you thinking Hanibal Lecter who killed and ate people? An even better example.

At least Forrest Gump was an entrepeneur, albeit unintentionally, who had a kind heart and donated his time and wealth to good causes, making his little part of the world a better place. And don't forget 'Stupid is as stupid does'.

Your personal vendetta and attacks against those that disagree with your opinion is tiring. Learn to accept that people have different opinions and have just as much right to post them here as you do.

Talk about the issue, not about the person. It's rude and petty. :bye2:

There ia a reason i have placed you and rory in the same category, one is both of your superficial reading of history, what you have to do is look at hanibal in his totality. relate his life (not just the military aspects of his life but the statesmanship part as well) to the mastery of the concept of education. This is the subject, What education is ( maybe you should read all the posts in the thread before you comment). Forest Gump please be serious, how are you looking at this? if you just happen to be in the right place at the right time everthing will be ok, who's living in a dream world now? this is why i wonder about your ability to think critically? This is not a vendetta at all i am looking at your process of thinking this is what i do in teaching chess.

Absolutely nothing. I think I asked you some questions on what you like to study, what you're good at, etc. Never got a reply so I figured you already found a job for yourself.
