so did anyone else notice they changed the channels abruptly?

any links to the new channels .. besides channel 5 .. their site had no info.

they always do that even up this way. and then they have the nerve to send a revised channel line up like a month later. DIRECTV or nuttin

Well I did see a newspaper story on it a coupla weeks ago. I was excited because my beloved Discovery and SciFi was moving to basic. :bouncy:

And then they did have the revised line up in the paper last week and thats when I saw (the Horror) they were moving Comedy Central to Premium and now that means I will miss my Beloved Daily Show. :sparky:

Ironically they took BET off basic cable some time ago but now they put MTV on basic. :dgi:

Do a search for TV Guide. They have a listing of all the channels and what is on. You will have to do some fishing around for it, but it is there. Or go to http://www.cablebahamas.com/ at the bottom of the page you will find the TV Guide icon. Make sure you select Nassau from the drop down list.

If anyone is on a dial-up the site takes a l-o-n-g time to load! (Or it did form me when I was on dial-up.)

Now that would have been a great idea. Pay day has come and gone at least twice since I saw the newspaper article so they knew well in advance what they had planned. They could have sent out notices with the bills. I guess the idea is so simple no one thought of it. :realmad:

Rory, they did. I received the letter in my po box about 4 days before the change. They enclosed a formal, organised list of all the channels. It was also announced on zns tv news.

yea, we got one too. Actually there was alot of press about it. It was on ZNS, probably Cable 12, their website, and it came with our bill. Plus they changed Ch 5's lineup like a week before.

Plus they introducing Digital Cable, they already did it in some family islands and I think they doing it in in N.P. starting October the 22nd.

i like this new lineup alot. G4 was lame, comedy central had lots of junk, and whatever else got taken off doesnt need naming anyway.

I love ScFi, especially Beyond Belief, and Scare Tactics and I always nagged them for Food Netowrk.

yeah but whats it got to do with digital cable, they werent supposed to start that until october, and nothing on their site abotu change of channels ..

Its a horrible line up anyway, they should have just added the extra channels at the end in the area that nobody watches! :D
