Bruce/Brenda/David knew he was a boy all along he knew this within himself that is why he rebelled and his mother said this. You can't teach a heterosexual to be homosexual and vice versa. Just as you can't teach someone who knows them selves to be a boy to be a girl no matter what is or is not between their legs.

The Dr screwed up the day he thought it's nurture not nature. The experiment was a life target it was not over till the life was over.
